Coldwater, MI: BDS ups the ante with new 3" UCA Lift Systems for the late model GM HD trucks. Designed for easy bolt-on installation, these new 3" UCA lift systems for the 2020-2021 Chevy and GMC 2500HD/3500HD trucks are built around the OE suspension geometry while providing next level performance with the new FOX 2.5 Performance ELite Series shocks at each corner. THese large aluminum-bodied shocks feature DSC (dual speed compression) adjustable reservoirs for additional damping capacity, better heat dispersion and tunable ride quality. These shocks pair with heavy duty BDS  tubular upper control arms (UCAs) designed for improved strength and increased suspension travel. These arms come fully assembled right out of the box with high quality greasable ball jpoints and rubber bushings for long life and quiet operations offering superior corrosion resistance to uniballs and heims. Along with the control arms, a pair of re-indexed cast steel torsion bar keys are supplied up front to lift the vehicle while improving ground clearance. A small differential relocation kit is supplied to correct CV axle operating angles without effecting ground clearance or offroad protection. To eliminate sway bar interference, a pair of sway bar relocation brackets are supplied which also correct operating angle. In the rear a 2" rear lift block and u-bolt kit is supplied to create a level to slightly tail high stance. 2.0 Performance Series Coilover Kits: These 2" FOX coilover systems are designed to build on the stout factory front suspension design on the Chevy/GMC 1500 trucks and take performance to the next level while leveling out the stance. More that just a "leveling kit", at the heart of this 2" system is a pair of specially tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP coilovers. These non-reservoir coilovers are preset for the correct lift height right out of the box and use a threaded body to allow preload adjustment. They are a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory strut assemblies and improve damper performance featuring a 2.0" extruded and machined 6061 T6 aluminum body for better heat dispersion, along with an internal floating piston (IFP) to eliminate oil aeration, FOX’s proprietary internals, 5/8" hard chrome plated heat treated alloy shaft all preloaded with coil springs ready for easy installation. These can be installed on Trail Boss/AT4 models for the added performance benefits, but will net 0" lift. Also supplied for the front are a pair of performance upper control arms (UCAs) designed for improved strength and suspension travel. Built from thick wall 1.5" tubing, these UCAs utilize an indexed ball joint cup to reposition the upper ball joints and allowing more droop travel. More that just a "leveling kit", this 2" system steps up to specially tuned FOX 2.5 Factory Race Series coilovers featuring DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment. These coilovers are backed by FOX's racing pedigree, preset for the correct lift height right out of the box to provide optimal performance and direct bolt-in replacement for the factory strut assemblies. They feature a smooth bore and honed seamless alloy body, 7/8" hardened steel carbon shaft, Eibach coil springs and black anodized machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts along with remove reservoirs with mounting brackets. The DSC reservoir allows for easy tool-free adjustment of high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment settings to further dial in the damping to the terrain and ride preferences. Kits can be used on Trail Boss/AT4 models for added performance benefits but will net 0" lift. Also supplied for the front are a pair of performance upper control arms (UCAs) designed for improved strength and suspension travel. This revolutionary spring loaded traction bar system allows Chevrolet/GMC truck owners the freedom to improve traction on a variety of terrains without limiting wheel travel. The traction bars use heavy wall construction with internal compression springs that can be loaded or unloaded while installed on the vehicle to control axle wrap. They use a full float design for bind-free performance and can be installed with a range of lift heights.

These new RECOIL traction bars are built to the highest standards for the ultimate performance on and off-road. The bars are fabricated from 2" OD x 3/16'' wall steel tubing with a threaded bung welded in toward the axle and a CNC machined end at the frame. The axle mount uses the tried and true BDS large forged flex end and jam nut to take whatever abuse you throw at it. Utilizing a forged housing with large 1-1/4" -12 threaded shank, a single sided snap ring and 1-piece flex ball, the flex ends are capable of up to 15-degrees of misalignment in either direction. At the frame end the bar uses a durometer specific polyurethane bushing and free floats in the traction bar utilizing a pair of dual stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings. The main spring has a 3000lb spring rate. Both ends are greaseable and serviceable. Fully assembled the RECOIL traction bars are 60" long and mount to the vehicle using fabricated 1/4" steel brackets. Bracket kits are vehicle specific. The mounting brackets are designed for easy bolt-on installation. The traction bars and mounting brackets use a durable gloss black powdercoat finish.

These new RECOIL traction bars are built to the highest standards featuring quick and easy adjustment while installed on the vehicle. To adjust spring tension, use the supplied spanner wrenches at the axle to loosen the jam nut. From there the main bar can be rotated to load or unload the springs at the frame side of the bar. Using the concave end of the wrench handle against the frame end check the location of the end of the main bar in relation to the notches on the wrench to verify the load on the springs, the shorter the distance the more loaded the springs are. Repeat this process on the other traction bar and use the wrenches to tighten down the jam nuts and you are ready to go! There's a lot of excitement and anticipation surrounding the 2021 Ford Bronco. Long before these started to roll off the assembly floor there’s been a buzz around the Bronco, lots questions and excitement from as enthusiasts and manufacturers alike itching to get their hands on them to see if they live up to the hype and how they’ll measure up. Now that these Broncos are starting to be seen out in the wild we’ve been working through our product plans to test and validate and get new products into production quickly, but without cutting corners or ensuring our kits are built to take any use and abuse you want to through at them. While we might not be first to market with kits, the wait will be worth it.

For the bigger Bronco, both the 2Dr and 4Dr, our goal is to Up the performance and capability. While independent front suspension and rear 4-link with four-corner coilovers is noteworthy right out of the gate, we plan to take that further. Improve travel, better damping, more adjustability. All of the BDS systems will include FOX coilovers at each corner for next level ride quality and performance to go way beyond what the stock shocks and Sasquatch shock packages offer. We’ll be offering several lift kits from the 2” all the way up to 6.5” allowing clearance for up to about 40” tires. Additionally we’ll be offering upper control arms and other accessories to enhance its capabilities.

As with any manufacturer, the more complex parts take longer to develop, test and ultimately bring to market so things like the FOX coilovers and replacement steering knuckles will have a longer lead time. Initially you’ll see us come to market with performance upper control arms designed to increased travel that can be paired with all of our lift packages.

In the Q4 of 2021 we’ll have the FOX shock upgrades available along with complete 2-4” BDS coilover systems on the shelf and ready to ship. These systems will utilize FOX 2.5 performance elite series coilovers with the DSC adjustment along with BDS performance series upper control arms among other upgrades these will allow clearance for up to 37s tires and dramatically improve ride and handling of the vehicle. Due to the factory suspension geometry there isn’t a ton that is needed on when lifting the Bronco up 4”.

Over 4” of lift there are some additional provisions need to be made to correct suspension, steering and driveline geometry. We’ll be offering 4.5” and 6.5” lift height suspension systems to include crossmembers, taller steering knuckles, differential relocation, FOX coilovers all the way around with the goal to allow clearance for up to 40” tires. More to come on these taller lift systems, but expect to see them out early 2022.

Coldwater, MI: BDS Suspension expands its listings for the late model 2019+ RAM 3500 4WD trucks with new 4-6” 4-link conversion systems that are on the shelf ready to ship. Designed to improve the looks and performance of your new RAM, these new kits join existing radius arm variants to offer improved strength and handling on/off-road. Kits include everything necessary to correctly lift them for improved offroad capability with room for larger tires while improving overall vehicle handling.

Up front these systems use a pair of progressive rate coil springs (4"/5.5" gas) or (4"/6" diesel) to provide the extra height and smooth controlled performance in the harshest of terrains. A forged drop pitman arm is supplied to correct steering angles along with a HD bar drop bracket to re-center the front axle. A pair of sway bar drop brackets reposition the OE sway bar for optimal performance along with extended polyurethane bump stops to limit up travel and brake line brackets to allow full droop. To correct the front suspension geometry at the new height the factory stamped steel radius arms are converted over to 4-link using a pair of 1/4" steel brackets and high strength upper and lower control arms designed to limit caster control throughout suspension travel for more predictable handling characteristics. Also supplied are your choice of BDS NX2 gas shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series IFP gas shocks for improved ride and performance.

At 4”+ of lift it is critical to correct the front driveline angle to maintain use of the 4WD. To do this BDS Suspension provides a heavy duty replacement transmission crossmember as well as a transfer case indexing ring to reposition the front driveline output to allow use of the factory drivelines. BDS offers these indexing rings for both the 6-bolt and 8-bolt equipped trucks. In the rear of the RAM 3500 kits a 5" block and u-bolt kit for a level-to-slightly tail high while maintaing tow capacity. Finishing out the rear are a matching set of BDS NX2 gas shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series IFP gas shocks. As with all BDS Suspension kits these include Factory Protection Plus for a limited lifetime warranty, ESC System compatibility, and 5-year, 100,000-mile drivetrain warranty. Coldwater, MI: BDS Suspension expands its listings for the late model 2019+ RAM 2500 4WD trucks with new 4-6” 4-link conversion systems that are on the shelf ready to ship. Designed to improve the looks and performance of your new RAM, these new kits join existing radius arm variants to offer improved strength and handling on/off-road. Kits include everything necessary to correctly lift them for improved offroad capability with room for larger tires while improving overall vehicle handling.

Up front these systems use a pair of progressive rate coil springs (4"/5.5" gas) or (4"/6" diesel) to provide the extra height and smooth controlled performance in the harshest of terrains. A forged drop pitman arm is supplied to correct steering angles along with a HD bar drop bracket to re-center the front axle. A pair of sway bar drop brackets reposition the OE sway bar for optimal performance along with extended polyurethane bump stops to limit up travel and brake line brackets to allow full droop. To correct the front suspension geometry at the new height the factory stamped steel radius arms are converted over to 4-link using a pair of 1/4" steel brackets and high strength upper and lower control arms designed to limit caster control throughout suspension travel for more predictable handling characteristics. Also supplied are your choice of BDS NX2 gas shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series IFP gas shocks for improved ride and performance.

At 4”+ of lift it is critical to correct the front driveline angle to maintain use of the 4WD. To do this BDS Suspension provides a heavy duty replacement transmission crossmember as well as a transfer case indexing ring to reposition the front driveline output to allow use of the factory drivelines. In the rear of the RAM 2500 kits progressive rate coil springs are supplied to level out the stance and improve capability across all terrains without affecting load capacity. Extended rear sway bar end links and new bump stops are included to compensate for the lift along with a track bar bracket to re-center the rear axle. Finishing out the rear are a matching set of BDS NX2 gas shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series IFP gas shocks. As with all BDS Suspension kits these include Factory Protection Plus for a limited lifetime warranty, ESC System compatibility, and 5-year, 100,000-mile drivetrain warranty.
