2" Leveling Kits: These kits are designed to take advantage of the RAM HDs stout factory suspension. Designed to raise the front 2" to level out the stance, this kit uses a pair of heavy-duty steel fabricated coil spacers allowing clearance for 35" tires to be installed. The spacers are pitched and indexed to work with the unique coil mount design of the late model RAM HD trucks and are secured to the coil bucket to maintain proper indexing when the coil springs are unloaded. With the additional ride height the front bump stops are replaced with taller polyurethane units to control suspension compression. Rounding out these leveling kits is your choice of BDS NX2 gas series or FOX 2.0 IFP performance gas shocks at all four corners to improve ride quality.

3" Lift Kits: These 3" lift kits are lift and level the stance with room for 35" tires. They use a pair of (diesel specific) progressive rate 3" coil springs to provide the extra height and offer controlled performance in the harshest of terrains. A high strength adjustable track bar with center pinch-bolt turnbuckle is supplied to re-center the front axle along with extended length sway bar links, extended polyurethane bump stops. To correct the front suspension geometry at the new height a pair of heavy duty replacement radius arms that bolt directly into the factory location. These new radius arms are massive upgrade to the factory stamped units, using tubular construction and a lower cam adjustment to dial in front end caster. Also supplied are your choice of BDS NX2 gas shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series IFP gas shocks for improved ride and performance. In the rear of the 2500 kits are 1.25" steel fabricated coil spacers to level out the stance and maintain load capacity along with extended length sway bar links, rear bump stop extensions, a rear track bar and your choice of gas shocks. For the 3500 kits you’ll receive rear lift blocks and longer u-bolts, along with your choice of gas shocks to improve performance.

4" Lift Kits: These 4" lift kits lift and level the stance with clearance for up to 37" tires. They use a pair of 4" progressive rate coil springs to provide the extra height and smooth controlled performance. A forged drop pitman arm is supplied to correct steering angles along with a HD bar drop bracket to recenter the front axle. A pair of sway bar drop brackets reposition the OE sway bar for optimal performance along with extended polyurethane bump stops to limit up travel and brake line brackets to allow full droop.

At 4" of lift it is critical to correct the front driveline angle to maintain use of the 4WD. To do this BDS Suspension provides a heavy duty replacement transmission crossmember to allow clearance for the front driveline once indexed using the supplied transfer case indexing ring. In the rear of the RAM 2500 kits replacement 2.5" progressive rate coil springs are used along with extended length sway bar links, rear bump stop extensions, a rear track bar and your choice of gas shocks. For the 3500 kits you’ll receive rear lift blocks and longer u-bolts, along with your choice of gas shocks to improve performance.

In addition to these existing kits, several new kit sizes and options are nearing completion on the development side. Keep an eye out for additional releases coming out soon.

Hey George, at this time we don’t offer any lift/leveling kit options for the air-ride equipped 2019+ RAM HD models, but plan to offer kits in the future

Carter,

I have a 2019 4wd dually crew cab with no air suspension. Do you have a nice riding kit with 37 x 20 wheels fit.DAN

Hey Dan, officially we haven’t approved fitment on the DRW models due to the larger rear axle. Our 4″ radius arm system for the RAM 3500 with clearance for up to 37s but will require custom rear u-bolts to be install on the DRW. For more on the topic contact our customer service team at (517) 279-2135 or head to your local BDS distributor https://bds-suspension.com/distributor-lookup

HOW ABOUT A 4″ LIFT FOR A 2020 2500 WITH A HEMI MOTOR? I WOULD LIKE TO USE 37″ TIRES AND THE 5.5 IS TOO HIGH.

I have a 2020 Ram 3500 Dually with factory air bags. Do you have the modification required to remount the bags? Which lift do I need?

Hey Frank,
At this time we haven’t released kits for the 2019+ RAM 3500 trucks with factory air bags. We do have several kit variants in the works for our 2″/3″/4″/6″ kits to fit the rear air bag trucks, look for those to be available Q1-Q2 of 2021.

Hi, i bought à 2300 pounds camper I dont fixe on my new ram 2500. So, I thing it should drop the rear and I would like to keep the rear equal the front. Do you thing a 2 inches lift kit for the rear on l’y would be a good thing?

Hey Dennis,
This is a fit of a loaded question and one I’d recommend discussing further with our sales/tech department or your local BDS dealer. You have a few possible solutions based on the amount of lift you are trying to achieve front/rear. Most of our kits are designed to level the stance once the lift is installed, which doesn’t factory in the heavy camper. One option would be using the rear components from a taller kit to help level out the final stance, another would be to look at rear helper air-bag options to help support the weight.

Hey Paul,
while we haven’t released the air-ride compatibile lift kits for the late model RAM 3500s, they are in the works and we plan to have them out soon.

Ram 2500 Limited – Hemi . Will the 4″ lift kit lower the towing capacity closer to what the power wagon is capable of (~9500lbs)?

Hey Chris,
we don’t test exact payload/tow capacity as it is largely dependent on the aftermarket wheel/tire combo you install (extra mass and load ratings). Our springs are build to meet/exceed OE load capacity and the rest of of kit components correct suspension/driveline geometry so capability wouldn’t be affected due to the lift.

Unfortunately not yet, several of the releases have been pushed back due to supplier delays. We’ll have the 2500 Air Ride kits releasing in the next 2 weeks, 3500 Air Ride kits haven’t arrived quite yet.

Is the reason the 4″ lift for a 2020 ram 3500 won’t work with manual transfer cases because after dropping the transfer case lower the manual shifter wouldn’t be long enough? Could this be fixed with an extension?

Hey Lawrence, at this time we don’t offer a solution to allow compatibility with the manual transfer case trucks. The OE design doesn’t align with our current kit design on these models. Main issues are related to insufficient adjustment with the shifter as well as some differences with the transmission mount.
