2" Coilover Systems: These kits are designed to be so much more than just a "leveling kit" offering next level performance and comfort. At the heart of these kits are a pair of precision tuned FOX 2.5 factory race series remote reservoir coilovers preset and ready to perform right out of the box. They feature a smooth bore and honed seamless alloy body, 7/8" hardened steel carbon shaft, Eibach coil springs and black anodized machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts along with remove reservoirs optional DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment technology built in. Additionally a pair of performance upper control arms (UCAs) are used to improve strength and suspension travel. Built from thick wall 1.5" DOM tubing, these UCAs utilize an indexed ball joint cup to reposition the upper ball joints and allowing more droop travel. These arms come fully assembled right out of the box with high quality greaseable ball joints and rubber bushings for long life, quiet operation and superior corrosion resistance over uniballs and heims. Rounding out these 2" coilover systems are pair of FOX 2.0 performance series IFP gas shocks to compliment the front and complete the package.

4" and 6" Lift Systems: Stepping up to 4" and 6" heights BDS offers complete IFS lift systems designed to correct suspension, steering, and drivetrain geometry with clearance for 35-37" tires. At either height a pair of 1/4" thick laser cut high clearance crossmembers to maximize clearance and provide a solid mounting point for the OE lower control arms. Heavy duty front skid plate system create a rigid subframe while adding protection for vital steering and driveline components. In place of the factory steering knuckles a pair of specially designed ductile iron replacement steering knuckles are supplied to maintain proper steering geometry for ESC system compatibility. These connect to the factory steering linkage with a pair of heavy duty replacement tie rod ends included in the kit. The front differential is repositioned with BDS’s multipoint relocation bracket system to secure the front differential and keep CV axle angles at a minimum. A billet aluminum front driveshaft spacer is also supplied along with longer hardware to allow the reinstallation of the factory driveshaft. Additional ride height on the 4” lifts comes from an easy to install top mounted strut spacer to maintain ride quality and handling characteristics. On the 6” lifts you have the option of a combination top mounted strut spacer and preload spacers designed to not over extend the suspension during droop travel.. Rounding out the front of this kit are a pair of stainless steel braided extended brake line and sway bar relocation brackets.

In the rear of these 4" or 6" kits are a pair of 3" or 5" ProRide dual rate coil springs to lift and level the stance. With the additional ride height the rear suspension geometry is corrected with control arm relocation brackets, a bolt-on rear track bar relocation bracket to recenter the axle, extended length sway bar links to correct operating angle, and bump stop extensions to properly limit up travel. The rear of these kits are rounded out with your choice of specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance.

6" Coilover Systems: Building on the BDS lift systems these coilover systems up the ante for next level performance. In place of the factory strut + strut spacer these systems upgrade to FOX 2.5 factory race series coilovers with a remote reservoir for improved damper performance. These coilovers are available with or without the optional DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment built in. These coilovers are preset for the correct lift height right out of the box to provide optimal performance and direct bolt-in replacement for the factory strut assemblies. They feature a smooth bore and honed seamless alloy body, 7/8" hardened steel carbon shaft, Eibach coil springs and black anodized machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts along with remove reservoirs with mounting brackets. The optional DSC adjustment technology builds on the racing pedigree of the FOX 2.5 remote reservoir coilovers adding easy tuning of the vehicle’s suspension compression dampening to dial in the ideal ride performance to soak up the bumps, both large and small. The DSC has 12 adjustment points for the high-speed compression as well as 10 adjustment points for the low-speed compression allowing you to make large or small changes to further improve your performance for your particular needs. These pair with the 1/4" steel laser cut high clearance crossmembers, the heavy duty front skid plate system and ductile iron steering knuckles to correct suspension and steering geometry. Also included are replacement tie rod ends, front differential relocation brackets, a billet aluminum front driveshaft spacer, stainless steel braided brake line and sway bar relocation brackets. In the rear a pair of 5" ProRide dual rate coil springs to lift and level the stance along with control arm relocation brackets, rear track bar relocation bracket, extended length sway bar links and bump stop extensions along with FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks to offer improved damper performance. Take your RAM to the next level with BDS and FOX.

What’s your backlog time running currently? Ordered a 4” Ram Rebel kit almost 5 weeks ago through Custom Trucms in Columbus Ga. Hoping I get a call soon. ?

Hey Todd, we apologize for the current delays, we understand its frustrating and appreciate you understanding this is a difficult time for many of us dealing with manufacturing-supplier-shipping delays caused by the ripple affect of COVID-19. While its not across the board, at this point in general we are 6-8 weeks backlogged.

Hi Jose,
Congrats on your new truck. You can view our 4″ lift system at bds-suspension.com/product?kid=1663H. Our pricing is available on this page as well. We are currently estimating 4-6 week ship times.

I have 2020 ram 1500 Laramie 4×4 and I want to have it on a 4? lift kit with UCA and DCS coilovers ,what would be the price and how long to get it?

Hey Juan,
Thanks for reaching out. At the 4″ lift height we don’t off the coilover option and don’t recommend running our UCAs due to the ball joint positioning. If you move up to the 6″ lift height both the DSC coilovers and UCAs are options you can go with. For pricing you can head to our website to customize a kit (click here) or head to your local BDS distributor for them to get you a quote..

Do you guys offer a kit for 2020 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel that has factory air and comes with factory 22″ wheels? -Thanks!

I have a 2020 ram rebel and I ordered the 2” leveling coilover kit and I have read that it will only achieve about one inch of lift in the front because of the loss off the 1 inch it already comes with from factory … just wondering what the outcome has been with people installing them on the 2020 rebels does it actually level it out or is the rear still higher? I haven’t seen many many people installing this kit on the 2020 rebels I was just wondering if you have any experience with them installed

Hey Chris,
You are correct that you will only achieve 1″ of lift in the front. You can calculate the estimated final stance by measuring your truck now, and adding the additional 1″ in the front. Vehicle variations/modifications can play a factor in final ride height, but you can expect around a 1/2″ tail high stance after install

Do you guys offer any lift kits 4-6” for the 2020 Ram Ecodiesel with factory 20” wheels?

Hey Brad, contact our customer service team to discuss with them, please include some photos of your truck . While we design most of our kits for a level stance, each truck can be unique in stance due to gear, other accessories, and differences in the factory stance.

Hello I just purchased a Ram Rebel 2022 and I want to use your 4″ suspension lift, my only question is what wheels are compatible with your lift. Someone I know who has that lift used .25″ spacers and we’re able to remount the stock 18″ wheels.
I was wondering if I wanted to use the Icon Rebound pros 17.5 wheels would it work with your kit?

Hey Tony,
we haven’t approved the 2022 RAM fitments at this point due to not having access to the vehicle to test. Assuming everything carries over from previous model year we recommend 5″ backspacing when using 18″ wheels for proper clearance. That can be achieve with an aftermarket wheel or by adding wheel spacers to the factory wheels

So I’m super excited for this 4 inch lift for my 2021 Dodge Ram 1500! However, the shoplifting my truck ordered this left on August 13th 2021 and still do not have it. It’s almost like I’ve lost my excitement for the lift to be honest, and the worst part is is I would not lift my truck with any other lift kit at this point. I love the look of the 4 inch lift I just wish there was an option to include coilovers and upper control arms as everybody wishes! I don’t even know what to say anymore I do love BDS products however I’m on my 9th week and the shop says that they can’t even get a proper answer from them when they call they tell me that they used to be so good about it but now it’s hard to even get through and when they do they can’t get detailed information on where my lift is or when it might be coming! It would be super cool if y’all could help a brother out as I’m spending a total of $7,500 or all this work that I was so excited to get and it’s coming up on three months now waiting for your guys’s parts.

Hi Jordan,
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience. Lead times are longer than usual right now with manufacturing delays, material shortages and suppliers lead times longer. In general we’re about 6-8 week lead time currently on out of stock kits, and even longer on kits with coilovers. Not knowing the shop you ordered from and whether or not their buying direct through us, what the order number, etc its hard to give a status update. If you would have the dealer contact us with an order number so we can check status, (517) 279-2135 or

Hello,

Any update or timeframe for the 4 inch lift kit for the 2022 RAM 1500 with the air ride suspension?

The trucks we had lined up previously for test fit/validation fell through. Once we have a chance to validate compatibility with existing kits we’ll be updating the website, however we can’t officially approve them for 2022 RAM 1500 Air Ride until then. If you’re interested in using your truck for validation in Michigan fill out the vehicles wanted form.
