This past weekend BDS Suspension made their way down to Conroe, Texas for the Lone Star Throwdown. This is an event we have attended for many years. Each year we see bigger, badder builds as well as a variety of other types of vehicles. While we are in the industry of lifted trucks, we can also look around and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into everything we see. This year was no exception.
This year's booth was a success! We got many compliments on the set up and the vehicles in the booth. It was a bit muddy, so the wood chips helped clean up the land. We had a few vehicles that you may recognize, #ProjectRangerX and #ProjectRenaissance. These are two of our rigs that are a part of our impressive fleet. #ProjectRangerX got a ton of attention throughout the event. It didn't quite fit in with the crowd at Lonestar Throwdown, and that's probably why so many people wanted to come by and check it out.
In our Booth we had two customer builds that we featured as well.
Here we have Tyler's 2020 RAM 2500 fitted with the (preprodution) BDS 8" 4-Link Coilover System and 38x15.50 Mickey Thompson tires on 24x12 TIS wheels
This 2021 Ford F150 was built by the team at All Out Motorsports. With this being one of the only 2021 Ford F150s at the show, let alone equipped with a BDS Suspension system, this truck got a lot of attention from spectators. This rig is running the BDS 6" coilover system with 325/45 Nitto Terra Grapplers on 24x12 KG1 wheels.
Overall it was a great show! The weather ended up being perfect, which kept the spectators happy. Attendance was great! Saturday was packed all day long and the party went late. There was a little bit of everything for everyone at this show. From lowered to lifted, old to new, and everything in between. We met some really great people, got to do some video shoots and interviews, and, of course, talk about all things BDS Suspension.
