Toyota Tacoma 2-3″ Coilover Systems | NPR #449

Coldwater, MI: BDS Suspension introduces the latest addition to its ever-expanding product lineup for the 2005-2015 and 2016-2020 Toyota Tacoma with 2-3" coilover systems (3" net lift on 05-15 models, 2" net lift on 16-20 models). The 16-20 Tacoma sits slightly taller than the factory so the net lift height will be slightly less. In stock and ready to ship, these new systems utilize FOX 2.5 performance elite series coilovers to offer improved performance and capability beyond that of our previously released 1-2" 2.0 performance series kits.

BDS offers next-level performance while maintaining on-road handling and factory suspension geometry with 2-3" coilover systems for the Toyota Tacoma.

These kits use FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series coilovers for a bolt-in upgrade to fit up to 285/75R16 tires while providing improved damper performance across all terrains. Performance Elite Series coilovers include DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment to dial in high-speed and low-speed compression settings. In addition to the new aluminum "PE" dampers, you also have the option to purchase kits with either the aluminum 2.0 Performance Series "PS", the steel bodied 2.5 Factory Series IFP (non-reservoir) and the steel bodied 2.5 Factory Series w/ DSC remote reservoir.

Also supplied as part of these complete 2-3" lift system are a pair of BDS performance series upper control arms (UCA). These UCAs improve suspension travel while providing superior strength and styling to the factory arms. These arms are built from 1.5" OD heavy wall tubing, fully welded with integrated support gussets. They also include brake line mounting tabs and use an indexed ball joint cup to correct ball joint positioning back to the neutral position at ride height. The BDS arms come fully assembled with OE-style rubber bushings for the frame mounts and a high-quality MOOG ball joint for smooth, quiet operation. 1" front differential spacers and longer hardware is supplied to reposition the front differential to keep CV axle angles within correct operating angles. In the rear, BDS supplies a set of add-a-leafs to provide 1" of lift to level out the truck, paired with your choice of FOX 2.0 IFP Performance Series shocks or FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series remote reservoir shocks with DSC or even a steel-bodied FOX 2.5 Factory Series w/ DSC reservoir.
