2016 Ford Super Duty Lift Kits:

BDS Suspension is now shipping suspension lifts for the 2016 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty trucks. Available in 1″, 2″, 2.5″, 4″, 6″, and 8″ lift heights, these new kits are designed to improve the performance, functionality, and curb appeal of your late model Ford while retaining the handling characteristics owners have come to expect.

1-2″ Kits: The 1″ and 2″ leveling kits utilize a pair of lower coil spacers to retain the factory ride quality and handling characteristics while allowing for 33″ tires to be installed. 2″ kits include ball joint alignment cams. Your choice of BDS-5500 and Fox 2.0 performance gas shocks are available to upgrade the factory shocks. [see more]

2.5″ Radius Arm Kits: This small lift packs a big punch with clearance for up to 35″ tires. Kits include progressive rate Proride coil springs, a heavy duty adjustable track bar and thick-wall gusseted tubular radius arms to correct alignment caster and maximize ground clearance. In the rear a small replacement block is used to level the stance as well as your choice of BDS-5500 or Fox 2.0 gas shocks. [see more]

2.5-6″ Standard Kits: BDS offers 2.5″, 4″ and 6″ standard lift kits are available to clear up to 37″ tires. The 2.5″ kits include springs, blocks, your choice of shocks, sway bar relocation, alignment cams and adjustable track bar.  4″ and 6″ kits utilize a pair of 1/4″ thick drop brackets to reposition the stock radius arms for stock-like handling characteristics. A heavy duty track bar bracket recenters the front axle and mimics the new steering angles created by the forged pitman arm to eliminate bump steer issues seen with other kits. Also included is sway bar relocation, brake line extensions, bump stop extensions, new steering stabilizer mount, front and rear shocks, and your choice of rear block kit or replacement Glide-Ride leaf springs. 4-6″ 4-Link Kits: Stepping up from the standard 4″ and 6″ lift kits, BDS Suspension offers 4-link conversion kits to improve the handling characteristics and off-road performance. The 4-link design improves is much stronger while reducing caster change to less than 1 degree throughout wheel travel for better control. Ford Super Duty C/O Upgrade Kits: Are you looking to improve your Super Duty’s offroad performance? The engineers at BDS and Fox have teamed up to bring new coilover options for the 2005-2016  Ford F250/F350 Super Duty 4WD diesel trucks. This upgrade is available in both 6″ C/O complete lift systems as well as 6″ C/O upgrade kits allowing you to get more out of your Super Duty. Designed to allow the installation of Fox 2.5 factory series remote reservoir coilovers, this new system far surpasses the performance and capability of your Super Duty’s stock suspension with more stability, improved handling, and better dampening in any terrain.

The C/O upgrade kit utilizes a pair of Fox 2.5 factory series remote coilovers tuned specifically to optimize suspension performance on the diesel equipped Ford Super Duty. The 8″ travel coilovers feature a smooth bore and honed seamless alloy body, 7/8″ hardened steel carbon shaft, Eibach coil springs and black anodized machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts. The key to mounting these new coilovers are the new mounts supplied by BDS. In place of the factory stamped steel coil buckets BDS includes a pair of the massive 1/4″ thick steel, gusseted construction coilover mounting brackets designed to bolt in place using the factory frame holes. This provides a stout mounting point for the new Fox 2.5 coilovers with provisions to secure the remote reservoirs as well as an auxiliary shock for even further dampen capability. The auxiliary shock mount will accept anything from Fox 2.0 performance series gas shocks up to the massive 3.0 Fox Factory series cylinders. At the axle, new double-shear C/O mounting brackets bolt in for a direct replacement to the factory coil seats.  The all brackets are finished in a durable textured black powder coat finish with integrated mounting tabs to retain the factory brake and ABS lines. The coilovers come preset to provide 6″ over lift and all mounting hardware is included making this a quick and easy upgrade for your Ford Super Duty.

To complement the increased performance of the new coilovers, BDS designed the kit around the popular BDS 4-link conversion to upgrade the stock stamped steel factory radius arms.  The BDS Super Duty 4-Link conversion has long been a go to for 2005-15 Super Duty truck owners looking to improve their trucks drivability and performance.  The full replacement 4-link frame brackets bolt into factory holes and create a solid mounting location for the massive tubular 4-link arms.  These arms allow the front suspension geometry to be optimized for control and handling through all types of terrain. The front portion of the lift system also includes a forged drop pitman arm and front track bar relocation bracket to correct steering and track bar angles as well as to center the axle under the vehicle.  Front bump stop extensions, sway bar drops, and brake line relocation brackets round out the front of this system.  In the rear, full replacement BDS Glideride leaf springs provide the lift needed to level and level the stance. The springs are a 5-leaf design with built in overload leaf to assist when carrying heavy loads. New black e-coated u-bolts, brake line brackets and Fox 2.0 performance gas shocks are supplied to round out the 6″ coilover conversion 4-link system.

1) If equipped with 2-piece driveshaft, #123402 carrier bearing drop kit may be required.
2) Although extremely rare, front driveline vibration may occur.

Project trucks can come in many forms. Some a garage built weekend warriors, while others are purpose built. Some will spend their life on the trail while others may be mall crawled and built to showcase new and innovative products at SEMA. For the BDS #everydaychase F250 it started life a bit differently. The first 3 years of its life was spent as your average daily driven diesel tow rig. The 2011 Ford F250 Super Duty Lariat was sold at auction where we purchased it and had it delivered to the offices of RTM Productions, home of PowerNation TV and more specifically Ian Johnson of the popular 4x4 build show Xtreme Offroad. Ian had big plans for the truck and wanted to show his audience how to build a bad ass chase truck inspired daily driver built primarily from easy to find bolt-on components.

After taking delivery, Ian made some calls to order parts for the build. The plan was to install BDS's new 6'' Coilover Conversion 4-Link System which would allow for larger wheels and tires, heavy duty front bumper and winch, LED lights, steps, better brakes and additional storage. BDS HD RADIUS ARM Upgrade for ’05+ FORD SUper Duty

Goldwater, MI – Following last month’s announcement of complete 2.5” Radius Arm Systems for 2011-15 Ford F250 4WD trucks, BDS has packaged the new arms as a stand alone radius arm upgrade available for late model 2005-2015 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty 4WD trucks. These radius arms are designed to correct the suspension geometry when used with 2-4” of lift kits. These massive radius arms are built to handle the use and abuse Super Duty owners demand and far surpass the factory stamped steel arms fabricated from 1.75″ OD – 10GA DOM tubing with support gussets. The arms are formed inward to allow for addition tire clearance of oversized tires and incorporate factory style 3-1/4” rubber bushings to minimize road vibrations while allowing for long, maintenance-free bushing life. The new radius arms are designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory radius arms allowing for quick and straight forward installation. To maintain factory alignment adjustability alignment cam locks are supplied with the arms and install using OE hardware.The arms come finished in a durable textured black powder coat finish with a copper BDS nameplate.

These new radius arms are a great addition for F250/F350s running the 2” leveling kit. They should not be used in conjunction 4” radius arm drop bracket kits (bracket must be removed first), but are a great addition to improve the performance over the factory arms when used with the 6” radius arm drop bracket kits.

Project Trucks: CJ’s Vendetta SickSeven
If you’re into trucks and active Instagram, chances are you’ve come across photos of CJ Dunlap’s 2013 Ford F250 Super Duty dubbed Vendetta_sickseven in recent months. The truck itself has a following of nearly 55,000 on Instagram and is featured by countless truck pages on a weekly basis. We met up with CJ out in Vegas following the 2014 SEMA Show to get a close up look at this beast and see it in action out in the desert.

CJ’s built a few trucks over the years, starting out young at age 16 with a Toyota Tundra before moving up to this Super Duty. His goal all along was to building show worthy trucks and with the Ford he saw the opportunity to turn it into a SEMA-worthy show truck. After picking up the 2013 Ford Super Duty new CJ began modding it and documenting the build as he built a following online. Also know as the #flowerstroke truck the tuxedo black paint has a number of red accents and rose covered “V” vinyl graphics from Pixelwerks on the bedsides to continue the Vendetta theme. The Vendetta sickseven is running the BDS 8” 4-Link Long Arm System stretched to 10.5”. Additionally Fox 2.0 shocks, Hellwig sway bars, BDS dual steering stabilizer, and a set of Full Flex Customs traction bars were installed to give this truck its extra altitude and performance. With the lift installed this truck has room for 37×13.50×22 Toyo M/Ts mounted up on 22×14 TIS 535B (-44 offset) wheels.

Up front the truck has run a few different bumper setups over the last year, but currently has a color matched factory bumper with with a pair of 40” Offroad LED Bars stuffed in the center along with 3” cubes in the fog light spots. The factory grille was swapped out for a All-Wired custom unit that mounts a pair of 12” light bars. A custom set of projector headlights from Rekless Rydes was installed to carry over the rose theme. Outback a Street Scene roll pan was installed along with a hidden hitch mount holding a Monster Hook and Recon smoked LED taillights. The bed is spray lined and features an auxiliary 60-gallon Titan transfer tank. Stepping up into the cab are a set of Amp Research and inside this truck features black leather seats and a custom wrapped dash. The Sony sounds system is run off a pair of Odyssey batteries what pull double duty powering the assortment of light bars. Along with the other mods to the truck the stock 6.7L Powerstroke received a S&B performance intake, H&S Performance mini maxx programmer and a Flo-Pro straight pipe exhaust system.
