2016 Ocean City Jeep Week
BDS spent the week on the east coast in Ocean City, MD for the 7th annual Ocean City Jeep Week. Organized by Live Wire Media, the coastal city welcomed nearly 1500 Jeeps for the 4 day festival. Mornings were spent cruising the beach for the daily Beach Crawl with special permission from the city to drive 250 Jeeps on the beach in parade formation. From there participants had their choice to head to the vendor show and show-n-shine at the OCJW headquarters or head over to the Jeep Jam for trail ride and obstacle course behind CC Customs. After a day packed with activities, the party continued into the night with parties each night of the event for participants and vendors. Jeep Unveils 7 Killer Concepts for EJS
Auto manufacturers have their go to events to debut cool concepts for the future and dwell up conversation among the media and general public. Most use the North American International Auto Show in Detroit or one of the other big OEM oriented show. Jeep, on the other hand, heads to Moab, the offroad mecca to debut them at the annual Easter Jeep Safari hosted by the Red Rock 4Wheelers. While most of these concepts will never see production, its a great to see a manufacturer getting out to a retail consumer focused event and actually getting some trail time with the concepts. Frankenbrute Raffle this Weekend, Support Baby Liam
Our heart goes out to Baby Liam and the Henderson family. At only 7 months old, Liam was the victim of a traumatic brain injury while under the care of a daycare center. A fear that no parent ever hopes to see Liam, now 4 years old, suffered from shaken baby syndrome and has had an extremely difficult first few years of his life in and out of the hospital trying to overcome his disabilities and fighting to recover. With the love and support of friends, family and coworkers and complete strangers baby Liam and the Henderson family have made steps towards recovery. However, mounting medical costs have left the family in need of extra support. In an effort to raise money and awareness Greg Henderson, Liam’s father, did what he does best and built a Jeep with the goal of raising funds with raffle tickets to win his Jeep.…

BDS at the PA Jeeps Show
BDS Suspension loaded up and headed East for the 19th Annual All Breeds Jeep Show at the York Fairgrounds hosted by the PA Jeeps club July 19-20th. BDS has been attending this event for several years and each year seems to get better than the last. We couldn’t have asked for better weather with the occasional cloud cover and temps in the mid-80s to welcome over 800 Jeepers for 2 days of fun. The show stayed busy all weekend with most parking in the infield for the show-n-shine contest. Whether its a late model JK, a farm-use Willys, Jeep concept vehicles, or even the woody converted CJ8 Scrambler there was plenty to see at the show. For those a little more adventurous, the obstacle course boasted new challenging obstacle for everyone to test their skill and their Jeep’s capability in front of a crowd of onlookers.
