BDS at the East Coast Truckin’ Nationals
BDS hit the road over the weekend heading all over for a slew of offroad events and among them was the East Coast truckin’ Nationals in Petersburg, VA. BDS Rep Mike Rogers made the trip out in the BDS Ram 2500to hang out with distributor Davis Offroad and take part in the events. Davis Offraod has been a BDS distributor for the last couple years building some Bad Ass Rides in the Richmond, VA area and have a number of them on display and racing in the event. The Virginia Motorsports Park played host to this event that brings in thousands of trucks for a weekend of diesel smoke and burnt rubber. These new IFS suspension systems follows BDS proven design standards using full one-piece front/rear crossmembers coupled with precision machined ductile cast iron steering knuckles. The steering knuckles are designed to work within the factory traction control constraints and provide stock-like handling characteristics. Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival Recap
Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival Butler, PA Â Â Aug.12-14, 2011 The guys from BDS took that familiar cruise along I-80 from Coldwater, MI to Butler, PA to hang out with Meridian Off Road Center at the 1st Annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival this past weekend. Hosted by Butler Country, this historic event was nothing short of amazing as well over 1000 Jeeps of all years, sizes, shapes, and pedigrees inundated the area and held the largest Jeep parade in history. Butler is the known as the birthplace of the Jeep, where back around 1940 the Bantam Car Company won the bid to manufacture a small light-weight 4WD vehicle to aid in the war efforts. BDS made it early and set up in the vendor area next to our local distributor, Meridian Off Road Center, a local 4×4 shop to Butler, PA offering top-notch service with over 27 years of experience.…
Jeeps, Jeepers, and Jeepoholics at the PA Jeeps Show
Last weekend the crew from BDS Suspension loaded up the trailer and made the 500+ mile trip to York, PA for the 16th Annual All Breeds Jeep Show hosted by the PA Jeeps Club. This family friendly event attracts thousands each year seasoned Jeepers all the way to the entry level first time Jeep owners with plenty to keep everyone happy. This 2-day event grows continues to grow in both size and quality each year and hats off to Rick Bear and all the volunteers from the PA Jeep Club for their hard work on organizing this event. From planning the Jeep show, to working with with Rausch Creek Offroad Park to build the obstacle course, and organizing the vendors around the fairgrounds the club did a great job. Tonight on Off-Road Overhaul, Mike, Rebecca, and the rest of the crew bring a ’98 Jeep Wrangler into the shop for some well deserved upgrades.
