Power Auto Media (home to Diesel Army, Xtreme Offroad and other great titles) stopped by the Ford Booth at SEMA to check out our latest creation, Project SD126. This brand new 2017 Ford F250 Super Duty was on the main stage where it entertained the masses the entire week of SEMA. Completed earlier this week, the BDS R&D team has gone above and beyond to overhaul your run of the mill 2017 Super Duty into a one off show piece built to not only look good, but perform out on the trails and open desert. This frame off overhaul includes off the shelf parts from some of the best companies in the industry combined with top level fabrication from BDS build team. BDS Project SD126 Build Update 1
BDS has been keeping a secret these past few months. Granted we haven’t done a great job keeping the secret as we keep sneaking out teaser shots of the build progress on social media these past couple months, but its finally time to come clean on our scheme to overhaul a brand spankin’ new 2017 Ford Super Duty Diesel in preparation for the 2017 SEMA Show. This build is part of Ford’s project build program and will be on display in the Ford booth at the show next week out in Las Vegas. Dubbed Project SD126, this truck is outside of the norm these days as most builders opt for the typical crew cab, short bed configuration.
