BDS Suspension is excited to now offer mounting options for dual auxiliary shocks on 2003-2012 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks. Available in textured black to work with BDS long arm equipped vehicles (#122604 for short arm equipped trucks), this setup increases shock damping capabilities without sacrificing tire clearance. Both 5500-series hydraulic shocks and Fox 2.0s are available to maximum suspension performance of your Dodge Ram. This system works with the OE shock mount inside of the coil spring as a triple shock kit. 6” Lift Kit— 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4WDColdwater, MI—December 8, 2011— 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD truck owners can rejoice; BDS Suspension has a new 6″ suspension lift kit available. Based on the popular high clearance kit design, the lift is designed to fit the new front differential assembly in the 2012 models. The kit centers around a pair of one-piece, 1/4″ laser cut high clearance crossmembers, tied together by the differential skid plate, designed to improve ground clearance and off-road capabilities. The replacement steering knuckles reduce installation time as well as maintain proper steering and ball joint angles. A differential skid plate is included for off road protection. The system also includes bump stop drops, anti-sway bar links, 3 point differential drop system, strut relocation brackets, and front stainless steel brake lines. Due to the OE ride height variances, BDS allows you to customize your desired stance by offering both 3″ or 5″ rear Pro-Ride coils that are capable of being smashed totally flat and will come back to normal ride height. The rear for this Dodge Ram lift kit is completed with a track bar bracket, upper link relocation brackets, and sway bar links. Rear 5500 series hydraulic shock absorbers are included with BDS by Fox 2.0 series gas shocks available as an upgrade. Improved geometry is achieved with ductile iron, CNC machined steering knuckles which are supplied to ease installation as well as work perfectly with the new BDS crossmembers. There is no change in turning radius, and the system works with the factory stability control system. The rear is lifted with BDS Pro-Ride coil springs that are capable of being smashed totally solid and still coming back to normal ride height. In addition, rear bump stop extensions and control arm relocation brackets are included to properly lift the rear of your Dodge. BDS 2011 SEMA Truck: 2010 Dodge Ram 2500
BDS just picked up a new tow rig/promotional vehicle being built to showcase at SEMA this year. We’ll be building this Ram 2500 into one bad ass ride; a monster right at home hauling our show trailer around and mashing the skinny pedal on the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Currently the truck features a stock 6.7L Cummins diesel and a clean, plain jane body and interior. We’ll be breathing new life into this Ram with BDS suspension upgrades and the help of some awesome companies that share the same passion for on and of-road performance as we do. Companies like BMF Wheels, Toyo Tires, Volant Performance, Edge Products, MBRP Exhaust, Anzo Lighting, Amp Research, and plenty more in the works…
While this truck is slated to debut in Las Vegas for this year’s SEMA Show, BDS R&D is in the process of outfitting the Ram for this weekend’s Indy Jamboree with some parts that arrived ahead of schedule.
