Overland Adventure
May 2019 brings the first ever Four Wheeler Overland Adventure! This event will start in Wickenburg, Arizona on May 13, 2019 and will fill three days with off-roading, camping, and Arizona’s stunning scenery. A professional guide has crafted the route to include a variety of terrain for any level of skill and overlanding vehicle sizes. After the three-day off-roading adventure, Overland Adventure will host a banquet and free access to the 2019 Overland Expo West event. This event is the official event partner of the Overland Adventure. Along with these perks, participants will be invited to park their 4x4s in the exclusive “Four Wheeler Overland Adventure Camp” at the show. Great opportunity to show off your rigs! Villalobos Rescue Center- Pit Bulls and Parolees
BDS Suspension has teamed up with Ben Lifted 4WD, Mickey Thompson, Warn, and Iron Cross Automotive to help out the Villalobos Rescue Center with the move to their new location in the Tehachapi Mountains of California. The Villalobos Rescue Center, which is largely known for the show “Pit Bulls and Parolees” on the Animal Planet, has made improvements and has expanded into its new space. While the increased space was much needed, they’ve found it does come with some drawbacks. The terrain makes it difficult for the day to day operations as the vehicles kept getting stuck in the mud and snow. Their work vehicles consist of a ’93 Jeep Wrangler 4×4, a ’94 Chevy Tahoe 4×4, and a ’98 Dodge Ram 2500 4×4. King of the Hammers is One Week Away!
The King of the Hammers is only a week away! WOW! Time fly’s when you’re having fun! After a few sleepless nights and eating dinner off the work bench our rig is race ready! At this point we could enter this thing in a “Show-n-Shine” competition, but it won’t look like this for long! That’s okay; chicks dig dents, dirt and scratches! King of the Hammers update
With the King of the Hammers race just two weeks away our crew at Pacific Fabrication continues to prep the truck to make sure it’s race ready. Some of you may recognize this rig from the 2009 Petersen’s Ultimate Adventure covered in a few issues of the mag and of course the video. Even the boss, “Jen” is putting in some time getting the bead locks ready for the big day! Chase Rather Sponsorship | JEEPSPEED
BDS Suspension has announced its JEEPSPEED sponsorship of Chase Rather racing.  This is his 4th year racing in the JEEPSPEED series and was named Rookie of the Year. At age 16, Rather is the youngest driver to join the JEEPSPEED circuit, placing 1st at the Henderson 400.  We encourage you to watch and support Chase in his BDS Long Arm equipped Jeep XJ. BDS continues it’s sponsorship of the After Burner Racing Team.  “AFter Burner” is a 2003 Ford Ranger competing in the Pro Arena series and is owned and operated by Sonny Dohrmund of Davenport, IA. Sonny also owns and operates Sport Truck Specialties in Davenport and can be seen racing in all the Tough Truck series at Special events and at the majority of the USHRA races in Kansas City.
