Loading up for Butler, PA: Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival
BDS is loading up the trailer and getting ready to hit the road tomorrow for Butler, PA for the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival this weekend Aug. 12-14, 2011. The cruise from Michigan to Pennsylvania along I-80 has become routine with this our 3 trip this month for PA Jeeps Show, Carlisle Truck Nationals, and now The Bantam Jeep Festival. The show has all the makings to be enormous with the entire town of Butler, PA chipping in to host events, parades, demonstrations, off-road trail rides, live music, show and shine, and Jeep playground. Butler, PA if you didn’t know was the birthplace of the Jeep where back in 1940 the Bantam Car Company produced the first all purpose military vehicle back in 1940-41. Come celebrate the heritage of Jeep with us!

Off-Road Overhaul continues tonight with a YJ Buildup
Catch the The Outdoor Channel tonight (Monday, February 7th) for the newest episode of Off-Road Overhaul airing at 4:30pm, 7pm and 9:30pm (ET) as well as 1:30am on Tuesday (ET). Tonight host Mike Duval will take an ’89 Jeep Wrangler YJ in need of lots of attention and overhaul it with a lift kit, wheels, tires, bumpers, winch, performance mods and more. While in the shop, it will be outfitted with a BDS 4.5” Ultimate Suspension Lift Kit among other accessories before being tested out on an off-road adventure later in the show. Vegas baby! Las Vegas is the site of the SEMA Show; once again bringing together over 2000 companies for the largest automotive show in the world. Automotive manufacturers as well as aftermarket companies worldwide make the trip each year to this oasis in the Mojave Desert. PRESS RELEASE #103 4″ Suspension System—2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd 1/2 Ton Pickup Coldwater, MI—February 16, 2010—2009-2010 Dodge 1/2 Ton 4WD Pickup owners have another lift option with the release of BDS Suspension’s 4” IFS suspension system. This kit’s laser cut crossmembers are made from 1/4” steel and are designed with high arches for increased ground clearance. A differential skid plate is included to lock the front and rear crossmembers together as well as protect the differential. Improved geometry is achieved with ductile iron, CNC machined steering knuckles which are supplied to ease installation as well as work perfectly with the new BDS crossmembers. There is no change in turning radius, and the system works with the factory stability control system.
