Project Trucks: Tim’s Silver Bullet Tundra 2.0
Its the nature of the beast, project trucks are never complete, they are constantly evolving, being upgraded, and fit the latest trends. Case in point, Tim Grachen’s 2012 Toyota Tundra. We’ve been following this build for a few years watching the transformation into what it is today and even doing a feature on it back in 2013. Dubbed the Silver Bullet Tundra this truck is ready for an offroad adventure with a number of purpose built mods. The Silver Bullet has a menacing look and aggressive stance thanks in part to a BDS 7” Performance Coilover System featuring Fox 2.5 remote coilovers and Total Chaos upper control arms. In the rear a Hellwig sway bar was installed along with Fox 2.0 shocks, 1” BDS shackles, and Firestone airbags to support the extra weight when this truck is loaded down for an adventure. Project Trucks: Daley Visual’s BlueChrome Tundra
If you follow BDS online or are into the Tundra aftermarket chances are you’ve seen the Daley Visual Blue Chrome Tundra. It’s a show stopping truck that breaks necks everywhere it goes. We ran a feature on this truck last year following SEMA and had the truck on display in our booth a few months back at Offroad Expo. OKtober Truckfest
We took the BDS Tundra with a 7” lift along with our displays out to OK Auto’s “OKtober Truckfest” which was great success. The weather cooperated with us, the turnout was great, and the vehicles were amazing! Ok Auto does an awesome job putting the show together. The front parking lot was full of vendors showing the off their wares,  a singing duet for additional entertainment and the local fire department had a food tent going to keep everyone happy! A few folks besides the R/C crowd made way to the rock pile to show off their driving skills during the show. Ok Auto also had a table full of trophies to give out at the end of the show along with other prizes such as a BDS gift certificate for suspension products.
