When the guys at Bushwacker needed a killer suspension system for their extreme XJ project they knew to call BDS! Their purpose of this project was to develop their new “Flat Fender” flares for the XJ’s. This rig is sporting the BDS 6.5″ 4 Link Long Arm on a set of 33″ Mickey’s. Installing their new “Flat Style” flares should leave plenty room for some 35’s. Check out the new flares (#10922-07) on www.bushwacker.com
Matt Evans of Genoa, IL is a true BDS fan. We just received these pictures of Matt’s ’98 Grand Cherokee with a 4.5 inch BDS lift and his ’98 Cherokee with a 6.5″ BDS lift. Matt’s a wrencher and a founding member of Down and Dirty Offroad club. “I started Down and Dirty Offroad not only to have a club and get to know new people, but to give back to the community. That’s what this fantastic hobby is all about, giving back to the community and Mother Earth.” Matt’s favorite place to wheel is Cliff’s Insane Terrain in Marseilles, IL. Students in the John Hersey High School’s Automotive/CAD/M&T class have been getting hands on training on their class Jeep XJ Cherokee. A 6.5″ BDS Suspension long arm kit was installed by the students earlier this school year along with many other customizations. These pictures show the year end results of this project. BDS wishes the John Hersey class of 2009 the best of luck in their future careers and many happy and safe days on the trails.
Sal came back to school today and apparently had a good time with his new lift over the weekend.
We added another BDS lifted Jeep to the Hersey garage this weekend. Sal Canale ordered a 3″ lift kit for his 08 JK from Attitude Performance in Arlington Heights, IL and picked up a set of Dunlop Mud Rover 35×12.50 to mount on 17×8 Cragar Soft 8’s. We started installing the lift just after 10am and the truck was back on the road by 12:30. Everything fit perfectly and the truck rides great.
