In addition these kits feature rear 2.0 PS shocks with BDS upper control arms (UCAs) for improved performance over the stock while leveling out the stance. As with all BDS lift kits, these new 2″ systems include Factory Protection Plus for the ultimate extended warranty. Kits are offered with your choice of front FOX 2.0 snap ring coilover struts or 2.0 loaded coilovers to offer improved performance and capability, without some of the additional features or price point of the FOX 2.5 factory series remote reservoir coilovers also available.<\/p>\nAt the heart of these 2″ coilover systems are a pair of specially tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP coilovers. “FSR” kits use a non-reservoir snap ring coilover struts that utilize a collar to allow for up to 2″ of lift when used with the factory coil springs and top plate. “FSL” kits use fully assembled FOX 2.0 Performance Series coilovers that are preset for the correct lift height right out of the box and use a threaded body to allow preload adjustment. They are a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory strut assemblies and improve damper performance featuring a 2.0″ extruded and machined 6061 T6 aluminum body for better heat dispersion, along with an internal floating piston (IFP) to eliminate oil aeration, FOX’s proprietary internals, and a 5\/8″ hard chrome plated heat treated alloy shaft.<\/p>\n
Also supplied as part of these complete 2″ lift systems are a pair of BDS performance series upper control arms (UCA). These UCAs improve suspension travel while providing superior strength and styling to the factory arms. These arms are built from 1.5″ OD heavy wall tubing, fully welded with integrated support gussets. They include brake line mounting tabs and use an indexed ball joint cup to correct ball joint positioning back to the neutral position at ride height. The BDS arms come fully assembled with OE-style rubber bushings for the frame mounts and a high-quality ball joint for smooth, quiet operation and better durability than arms that use heims and uniballs.
