      Coldwater, MI:<\/strong> BDS Suspension is now shipping 6″ lift kits for the 2021-2022 Ford F150 trucks w\/ the CCD (continuously controlled damping) system allowing you to improve the capability and performance with room for 35-37″ tires. This kit retains the full functionality of the CCD by building off the tried and true BDS high clearance system and tying in front strut spacers, rear shock relocation brackets, and sensor brackets specially designed for the CCD models.<\/p>\n

      These kits utilize a pair of 1\/4″ thick laser cut high clearance crossmembers to maximize clearance and provide a solid mounting point for the OE lower control arms. These paired with the heavy-duty front skid plate system create a rigid subframe while adding protection for vital steering and driveline components. In place of the factory steering knuckles, a pair of newly designed ductile iron replacement steering knuckles are supplied to accommodate the new OE sway bar mounting location while maintaining proper steering geometry for ESC system compatibility. The front differential is re-positioned via multi-point relocation brackets to keep CV angles in check. A billet aluminum front driveshaft spacer is supplied along with longer hardware to allow the re-installation of the factory driveshafts. A pair of BDS-branded sway bar drop brackets was used to correct the operating angle of the factory sway bar as well as created a strong brace between the rear cross member and the frame. Rounding out the front of this kit are new lower control arm cam bolts to allow alignment and a weld-in frame reinforcement plate for extra strength.<\/p>\n

      In the rear of these lift systems, the factory block is replaced with a 5″ lift block and longer u-bolts to lift and level the stance depending on the front lift height. Also included, BDS supplies brake line and ABS line brackets allowing the use of factory brake lines in addition to the CCD shock extensions and sensor brackets. All kits come finished in a durable textured black powder coat and are sent with all hardware packs to complete the installation along with step-by-step installation instructions.
