Coldwater, MI\u2014March 10, 2014\u2014<\/strong>BDS Suspension now offers a full line of suspension systems to fit the 2014 Ford F150 4WD trucks. With a few changes from the 2009-2013 model trucks, BDS offers 2.5″ leveling kits as well as both 4″ and 6″ suspension lifts all designed to improve the looks and performance of the 2014 F150 while retaining the handling characteristics owners have come to expect. These kits have been independently tested and confirmed compliant with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s FMVSS No.126 standard for Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems.<\/p>\n

Starting off the 2.5″ leveling kit offers an improved stance while improving the overall performance. The kit uses a new top mounted strut spacer along with a pre-load spacer for improved ride quality and cornering performance. Unlike other leveling kits on the market, this 2-piece system won’t max out the upper ball joints as the suspension cycles. An optional 1″ rear block kit and rear shocks are also available, this kit allows for up to 35″ tires to be installed.<\/p>\n

The 4″ suspension lift kit is designed for those looking to get the most out of their trucks on and off-road. The kit utilizes a pair of\u00a0one-piece laser cut 1\/4″ steel crossmembers, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, differential relocation brackets, heavy duty differential skid plate, upper strut mounts to retain the OE ride quality, bump stop extensions, sway bar relocation, new cam bolts, and billet aluminum driveshaft spacer. In the rear a BDS offset pin block kit recenters the rear axle in the wheelwell and levels the stance, while a brake line extensions and your choice of rear shocks round out the kit allowing for up to 35″ tires to be installed.<\/p>\n

The 6″ suspension system utilizes many of the same components available in the 4″ system, offering great ride quality and impressive off-road performance. Engineered to the highest standard, these kits feature heavy duty crossmembers, stout replacement steering knuckles compliant with factory traction control parameters, differential and sway bar relocation, billet aluminum driveshaft spacer, and front strut spacers safely and securely lift the front of these new trucks. Out back, a replacement 5″ offset pin block kit is used to eliminate stacking blocks and recenter the axle in the wheelwell. The kit is designed to level the stance and includes your choice of rear BDS 5500 or Fox 2.0 shocks with clearance for up to 37″ tires.<\/p>\n
