BDS made the trip up north into Canada for the much anticipated grand opening of Tiger Automotive<\/a>, a BDS distributor out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. After opening its doors in 1983 the company has continued to grow with this new store boasting\u00a022\u00a0employees and a\u00a017,000 sq ft\u00a0facility. The store is immaculate with large sales counter and product displays throughout, cafe, break room, employee workout facility and multiple bay install shop providing install and repair services. Tiger Automotive has been a BDS distributor for many years and we jumped at the chance to make it to the big event. BDS Rep Chris made the trip up and came back with plenty of stories from the weekend show.<\/p>\n

The grand opening was a great with food and fun for all. Local radio stations held remotes throughout the weekend, the city mayor was on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony and the local news came out to broadcast\u00a0the “door crasher” as George, the store owner, along with the mayor drove away and ripped off the front door to welcome\u00a0everyone in (see below for video)<\/em>. The store had giveaways all day long on the hour for 3 days along with grand prize drawings late Saturday afternoon.\u00a0Saturday broke the Tiger 1-day sales records by 1:30pm, congrats to George and the rest of the crew from Tiger Automotive for their continued success!<\/div>\n
