Coldwater, MI\u2014October 9, 2014\u2014<\/strong>\u00a02015 is shaping up to be an exciting year with redesigned trucks arriving\u00a0from both Ford and General Motors. BDS Suspension has been hard at work developing new products and is proud to announce now shipping\u00a0FIRST TO MARKET 2.5″ leveling kits and 6″ suspension systems for the new aluminum-body 2015\u00a0Ford F150 4WD trucks.<\/p>\n

The BDS 2″ leveling kit is designed to eliminate the factory rake while improving all around performance to\u00a0allow larger wheels and tires to be installed. The kit integrates a new top mounted strut spacer in combination with a pre-load spacer to raise the front end while improving the handling and stability. This 2-piece strut spacer system is designed\u00a0to\u00a0allow the suspension to fully cycle through wheel travel without maxing out the upper ball joints as is the case with taller 1-piece\u00a0strut spacers. An optional 1″ rear block kit and rear shocks are also available, this kit allows for up to 35″ tires to be installed.<\/p>\n

Along with the leveling kit, BDS Suspension is extremely excited to be releasing the FIRST TO MARKET 6″ suspension systems for the 2015 Ford F150 4WD. This new lift system is based off the tried and true 2009-2014 BDS kits, but has been designed to fit\u00a0on the updated 2015 chassis. This new lift kit is engineered to the highest standard, using quality materials built right here in the USA. The kit offers a smooth ride and reliable on-road handling coupled with\u00a0impressive off-road performance and clearance\u00a0for up to 37″ tires. The 6″ system utilizes a pair of\u00a0one-piece laser cut 1\/4″ steel crossmembers, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles, heavy duty replacement ball joints, differential relocation brackets, heavy duty differential skid plate, upper strut mount spacers to retain the OE ride quality, bump stop extensions, sway bar relocation, new cam bolts, and billet aluminum driveshaft spacer. In the rear a 5″ offset pin block kit recenters the rear axle in the wheelwell and\u00a0replacing the factory block to eliminate stacking blocks \u00a0and level the stance of the truck. Rear brake line extensions and your choice of rear BDS-5500 series or Fox 2.0 shocks round out the kit.<\/p>\n

This new 6″ lift kit is\u00a0certified compliant with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) FMVSS No.126 standards to not adversely effect the factory installed Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Systems installed on the new 2015 Ford F150. Along with FMVSS No.126 compliance, all BDS kits include the\u00a0Factory Protection Plus Program<\/a>\u00a0offering peace of mind on road or on the trail.
