2004-2008 Ford F150 4WD 6″ and 8″ Suspension Systems<\/h2>\n
\n

Coldwater, MI\u2014December 18, 2014\u2014\u00a0<\/strong>BDS Suspension brings back the 6″ and 8″ replacement strut\u00a0systems for the 2004-2008 Ford F150 4WD trucks adding to current lineup of 2″, 4″ and 6″ strut spacer suspension lifts. These new high clearance systems are designed for smooth on road comfort and improved offroad performance with room for up to 37″ tires.<\/p>\n

Both the 6″ and 8″ systems use high arched laser cut 1\/4″ thick crossmembers for additional ground clearance. These crossmembers are\u00a0tied together by\u00a0a heavy duty differential skid plate and supported at the frame by a pair of kicker braces creating\u00a0a stout subframe to relocate\u00a0the front differential and lower A-arms. In addition the front differential is repositioned using a pair of drop brackets allowing full operation of the CV axles without binding. Massive ductile iron CNC-machined steering knuckles correct the steering position without changing the track width and extended kevlar lined braided stainless steel brake lines allow full droop out of the front suspension. New high pressure gas struts are provided and work with the factory coils to provide great all around performance. The 8″ systems include an additional top mounted spacer to work with the new gas struts to achieve the full 8″.<\/p>\n

In the rear both 6″ and 8″ systems are offered with your choice of a\u00a0block + add-a-leaf kits or replacement leaf springs to raise the rear. BDS-5500 or Fox 2.0 gas shocks are supplied to to finish off the rear of these systems. As with all BDS suspension lifts the 6″ and 8″ suspension systems are\u00a0backed by BDS’s\u00a0No Fine Print Warranty giving you peace of mind to\u00a0use it and abuse it.<\/p>\n
