\"silverbullet-2\"<\/a>Its the nature of the beast, project trucks are never complete, they are constantly evolving, being upgraded, and fit the latest trends. Case in point,\u00a0Tim Grachen’s 2012 Toyota Tundra. We’ve been following this build for a few years watching the transformation into what it is today and even doing a feature<\/a> on it back in 2013. Dubbed the Silver Bullet Tundra this truck is ready for an offroad adventure with a number of purpose built mods.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Silver Bullet has a menacing look and aggressive stance thanks in part to a BDS 7\u201d Performance Coilover System featuring Fox 2.5 remote coilovers and Total Chaos upper control arms. In the rear a\u00a0Hellwig sway bar was installed along with Fox 2.0 shocks, 1” BDS shackles, and Firestone airbags to support the extra weight when this truck is loaded down for an adventure. For tires and wheels,\u00a0Tim opted for a set of\u00a037\u00d713.50×20\u00a0Nitto Trail Grapplers\u00a0mounted up on\u00a020\u00d710 KMC XD Series Heists. R1Concepts drilled and slotted rotors were installed to improve stopping power and Bushwacker pocketstyle\u00a0flares were fitted next and give extra coverage for the oversized tires. Up front the truck was outfitted with a pair of\u00a0Cali Retrofits colormatched headlights with FXR projectors, TRS HIDs and blue demon eyes. The stock front\u00a0bumper was swapped out for a Rhino-lined Iron Cross unit with Rigged Ridge winch and a Factor 55 prolink. The custom grille came from Forged Industries and integrates (3) 4.5” Vision X cannon lights. Up top a roof mounted NBQ Motorsports rack was installed for extra storage along with more Vision X 4.5\u201d cannons\u00a0to help light up the trail when Tim is charging through the open desert. All the LED lights and other electronics are powered by a pair of Odyssey extreme series batteries and controlled through a sPod box under the hood. Out back the bed is lined by Bed Rug and features a Decked storage system capped off by a Snugtop XTR shell. Spyder Auto smoked LED taillights were swapped in along with Spyder Industries big has recovery hook and Vision X reverse lights. Additionally a ViAir onboard air system was added to supply air for\u00a0the bags, air up tires and run tools.<\/p>\n

Cab access on this Tundra is made easier by\u00a0a set of Iron Cross\u00a0steps and inside the truck is\u00a0transformed using Roadwire leather\/suede seats, Huskyliner floormats, US Speedo stainless steel\u00a0gauges and lighting, Kenwood head unit and Vibe Audio sound system. A Bully Dog GT T+ monitor is dash mounted and hints retunes the stock 5.7L V8. Additionally, the motor received add-ons from an S&B cold air intake, Doug Thorley short tube headers, and a Gibson metal mulisha exhaust system.<\/p>\n
