2018 National FJ Summit – Ouray, CO
This past weekend BDS spent the weekend in Ouray, CO for the 2018 National FJ Summit. This event is held in the San Juan Mountains in Southern Colorado. This area of the country is simply beautiful. Pictures just don’t do it justice. In attendance were mostly newer model Toyota’s: Tacoma, FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, Tundra, and Lexus GX 470. We have so many great things to say about this event. The ease of vendor registration, the timeliness of the events, and the constant vendor/customer interaction made for an organized and well put together event. We appreciate an event that is well organized. We were set up with RSG Offroad, a BDS distributor out of Denver, CO. At our booth we had some of the yet-to-be-released BDS Toyota products along with BDS and FOX gear and some great show specials. Most of our time was spent on the trails with the attendees.…
The Smell of Burnt Rubber at Nitto’s Auto Enthusiast Day 2018
This past weekend Nitto Tire took over the parking lot of Anaheim Stadium for the 2018 Auto Enthusiast Day #AED2018 , a melting pot of lifted and lowered, import and american muscle, show queens and race monsters. BDS was on site for all the action teaming up with Pacific Fabrication and RT Pro to set up and show off a few bad ass rides and partake in the day’s festivities. This event has a something for all types of auto enthusiast with the highlight for most being the drift and jump demos on the asphalt. 16th Annual Open House at ETA
This past weekend the BDS team made it out to Norfolk, VA for Eastern Truck & Accessories’ 16th Annual Open House and Customer Appreciation Day. This one day event welcomes hundred into this premier location for a fun filled day raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The weather cooperated most of the day and the rain held out to just about the end as customers took part in the show-n-shine competition, winching classes, met the on site vendors, chowed down for the BBQ lunch and got involved with their raffle/auction that raised more than $44,000 this year for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. For many a highlight from the day was having Dennis and Adam Anderson, drivers of the Grave Digger monster truck hanging out signing autographs and donating parts of the truck to be auctioned off. Monsters on the Beach
Nothing says Mother’s Day like some high-octane offroad racing and what better place to do it than the beach. Each Mother’s Day weekend, Virginia Beach plays host to Monster on the Beach, a 3 day gathering of monster trucks, tough trucks, show-n-shine rigs and more right down at the oceanfront along the beach and boardwalk. The event draws thousands to watch as monster trucks and tough trucks take to the sand to battle it out racing and freestyle heats. Along the boardwalk numerous vendors were set up slinging parts and showing off cool rides for event goers and vacationing tourist to check out. For several blocks the boardwalk was taken over by show trucks on display looking for top honors in multiple classes. In all this was a great event, thanks to everyone that made it out.
