Off Road Expo 2010
Off Road Expo is almost here! Pomona, CA is the site for this event that boasts the greatest collection of off-road companies, parts, equipment, and experts. From off-road racing to rock crawling, trail riding to sand sports and so much more, this event is unique in bringing together enthusiasts with industry professionals. The Expo runs October 9-10 and is sure to be an awesome precursor to SEMA next month. BDS will be there with new products and special deals. Along with all the vendors, there will be Freestyle motocross exhibitions, ATV test-drives, tons of celebrity appearances, Bikini Contest, and so much more. East Coast Truckin’ Nationals Followup
Virginia Motorsports Park played host to the 9th annual East Coast Truckin’ Nationals, one of the largest big rig and custom truck show on the east coast. This year’s show did not disappoint, with semi-truck and diesel truck drags, monster truck exhibition, Super Shockwave jet truck, and late night light parade, it was an action packed weekend. Even Kevin Locklear from CMT’s Trick My Truck was in attendance, signing autographs and checking out the custom semi-trucks. BDS teamed up with Davis Offroad to show off the latest and greatest in lifted truck suspensions. The show provided an excellent opportunity to meet customers and answer questions. The Super Shockwave jet truck was amazing, it’s one of those things you’ve got to experience at least once in your life. Overall this event was a success and it gave us a chance to work closely with a local shop and promote the products.…
Heading to the East Coast Truckin’ Nationals
BDS is hitting the road again to meet up with Davis Offroad at the East Coast Truckin’ Nationals this weekend. This Petersburg, VA based show is always a blast and fun for the whole family with the monster truck demos, live music, show-n-shine contests, jet truck exhibitions and drag racing. Some of the things that set this event apart from others like it are the Big-Rig Truck Show and Parade of Lights which bring in custom big rigs from all over the country to show off their rides. We’re hooking up with our local distributor Davis Offroad to offer great deals on suspension products and to show off some of our new products. Indy 4Wheel Jamboree
As in years past, Indy didn’t disappoint. Along with playing host to the “Manning Bowl”, this past weekend Indianapolis played host to the 4Wheel Jamboree bringing in truck and Jeep enthusiasts of all kinds. BDS hit the road for the short 3-hour trip south from Coldwater to Indianapolis with truck and trailer for the weekend’s events. The jamboree attracts rigs of all kinds, from stock TJs to the diesel rigs on tractor tires. Although there was a healthy mix of all vehicles, GM seemed to have the largest turnout. Among the events at the show, the Mud Drags and Monster Trucks and Burnout Competition drew the largest crowds. Trucks parked throughout the fairgrounds for the show-n-shine. Heading to the Indy Jamboree
Indy’s where it’s at this weekend! With events that appeal to every type of 4Wheel enthusiast, this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be a blast at the Indianapolis 4Wheel Jamboree. Whether you’re into Mud Racing, Sled Pulling, Burnout Contests, or Show-N-Shine Contests, the Indy Jamboree has you covered. Other family friendly events include the Monster Truck Exhibitions, Tough Truck Competitions, Drag Racing, and vendors like yours truly, BDS Suspension showing off the products and offering up special deals. Labor Day Weekend at Rocks and Valleys
I headed up to Rocks and Valleys with the BDS TJ for a weekend of wheeling. Saturday, September 4th brought the First Club Master Challenge to Rocks and Valleys off road park in Harrison, Mi. Over 400 spectators came to see 10 Michigan off road clubs compete to see who truly had what it takes to be first among many great clubs. Running in teams of three over a two-part, nearly half mile long rock course, the action was frantic as teammates tried to get all of their Jeeps and Buggies through without timing out. When the dust settled, West Michigan’s Two Trackers (http://www.twotrackers.org/) dominated at a combined total average of 7.59 minutes. Second place went to 2 Beat on 4×4 with 13.63m, and third to Rock Nuts with 14.42m. Overall, the Ten teams put on quite a show, and made for a great day for everyone despite the low-…
