Bundy Hill- Pit Trash Shootout
Bundy Hill Offroad Park in Jerome, MI played host to the Pit Trash Shootout this past weekend. Competitors from around the area took on the course for a chance at cash and bragging rights. The field was broken up into 2 classes, the 33-42’’ Tire Class and the 42’’+ Tire Class. A bunch of competitors took on the course designed by the crew at Bundy Hill with only a handful of competitors finishing within the 45-minute time limit. Numerous rigs fell short of the finish line with a range of problems from broken steering boxes to blown hubs and others just getting stuck along the way. Jeremy Gauss from Great Lakes Truck Outfitters took home first place for the 33-42” Tire Class in his modified Samari with a time of 8:44. OKtober Truckfest 2010
OK 4WD pulled off another great Oktober Truckfest Show this past weekend! Great weather, impressive turnout, and amazing deals helped make OK 4WD in Stewartsville, NJ the place to be. Several vendors were on hand showing off new products and answering questions. Yours truly, BDS Suspension made the haul from Coldwater, MI in our new 2011 Chevy HD sporting the BDS 6.5” HC Kit for the event. This show brings out a huge variety of vehicles from the old school classics to the extreme built rigs and OK Auto had trophy classes to cover them all. OK’s facilities includes a rock course for testing purposes and several rigs took their turn playing on the course and entertaining the crowd. OKtober Truckfest this weekend!
Make plans for this weekend to head to Stewartsville, NJ for OKtober Truckfest. This annual truck show now in its 17th year is hosted by OK 4WD and brings together hundreds of Trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps to show off their rides and compete for cash and prizes. Come out Sunday the 17th and see all the trucks with the family! Enjoy live music and grab a bite to eat with friends. Numerous vendors from around the industry will be there with special deals all day. O’Daniels Jeep Jam 2010
This past weekend BDS Suspension headed out to the 5th annual O’Daniels Jeep Jam in Fort Wayne, IN. As in past years this event was fun filled with a bit of chaos. The days events started around 8am with about 100 Jeeps lining up to parade and cruising through town and into the off road park by around 9am. Wheeling went on throughout the morning and into the afternoon with a wide assortment of Jeeps from the showroom beauties still in stock form to the heavily modified Jeep buggies. While open trails went on throughout the day, O’Daniels Jeep held special events to challenge anyone interested. From a Teeter-Totter for participants to try and drive up and balance on, to an RTI Ramp and flex course for showing off their long travel suspension. With roughly 275 Jeeps on site for the event, the crowd had plenty of entertainment all day…
Off Road Expo 2010
Off Road Expo is almost here! Pomona, CA is the site for this event that boasts the greatest collection of off-road companies, parts, equipment, and experts. From off-road racing to rock crawling, trail riding to sand sports and so much more, this event is unique in bringing together enthusiasts with industry professionals. The Expo runs October 9-10 and is sure to be an awesome precursor to SEMA next month. BDS will be there with new products and special deals. Along with all the vendors, there will be Freestyle motocross exhibitions, ATV test-drives, tons of celebrity appearances, Bikini Contest, and so much more. East Coast Truckin’ Nationals Followup
Virginia Motorsports Park played host to the 9th annual East Coast Truckin’ Nationals, one of the largest big rig and custom truck show on the east coast. This year’s show did not disappoint, with semi-truck and diesel truck drags, monster truck exhibition, Super Shockwave jet truck, and late night light parade, it was an action packed weekend. Even Kevin Locklear from CMT’s Trick My Truck was in attendance, signing autographs and checking out the custom semi-trucks.  BDS teamed up with Davis Offroad to show off the latest and greatest in lifted truck suspensions. The show provided an excellent opportunity to meet customers and answer questions.  The Super Shockwave jet truck was amazing, it’s one of those things you’ve got to experience at least once in your life. Overall this event was a success and it gave us a chance to work closely with a local shop and promote the products.…
