BDS is hitting the road again to meet up with Davis Offroad at the East Coast Truckin’ Nationals this weekend. This Petersburg, VA based show is always a blast and fun for the whole family with the monster truck demos, live music, show-n-shine contests, jet truck exhibitions and drag racing. Some of the things that set this event apart from others like it are the Big-Rig Truck Show and Parade of Lights which bring in custom big rigs from all over the country to show off their rides. We’re hooking up with our local distributor Davis Offroad to offer great deals on suspension products and to show off some of our new products. For full details check out East Coast Truckin’ Nationals. Hope to see you there!

BDS is looking to expand its distribution coverage even farther outside the US borders and has made the long trip halfway around the world to China for the SEMA Ciape Development Conference to do just that. While all of our products are proudly made in the USA and will continue to be, the Chinese community shows interest in the 4WD aftermarket and a number of potential distributors want to sell BDS Suspension to their customers. “I arrived in Beijing Sept.22 in the afternoon. UPS had some issues at customs with our marketing materials, but I’m hearing from our SEMA rep it’ll be resolved in time for the beginning of the conference the following day (hopefully). BDS had a full schedule during our time in China, between the show, visiting some of the local shops, and prearranged meetings with 4Wheel Drive companies at the show. I got the chance to enjoy…

Ray Hudson and the guys over at HMH Offroad held their annual customer appreciation day on July 24, 2010 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The festivities took place out at the shop in Northfield, OH and boasted a number of venders including Terry’s Tire, Tim Lally Chevrolet, Wheel Pros & Prohillbilly.com and yours truly, BDS. HMH Offroad raffled off shirts, hats, koozies, and winch throughout the day. The crowd flowed in and out all day. Considering the mild heat index at 104 degrees, there was a healthy crowd ready to spend some hard earned money and take advantage of the great deals. This show gave me a great opportunity to talk to the customers and show off the quality BDS lift kits. Some customers took advantage of the deals and sprung for suspension kits for their trucks and jeeps. Thanks to Al and Chris for their purchases and taking the time to…

BDS distributor Kakabeka Offroad Centre (Kakabeka Falls, ON) sent us a few pictures and this story about their trip to Moab. With regards to the MOAB Easter Jeep Safari 2010 it was a busy time. Like many of the people we met, we had travelled about 1650 miles to get to Moab. Our first day was spent on the Gemini bridges trail ending up at Dead Horse overlook. WOW what a view. Day two found us out with the Warn Red Letter Crew on the Cliffhanger trail. This was very entertaining with the big steps at the beginning of the trail and many slightly off camber aspects. A bit challenging but passable. Day three found us again out with the Warn Red Letter Crew doing the Seven Mile Rim trail. We were able to meet the boys from BDS Suspension and spent some time talking about the products and the…

For the third year in a row I was blessed with the opportunity to represent BDS at the Annual Eastern Truck and Accessories Open House and Customer Appreciation Day. This all day event, held May 23rd at Eastern’s retail location in Norfolk Virginia, is always “the place to be” if you are a truck or jeep enthusiast.  The Event hosts a Truck Show and Shine with trophies given out in 10 different categories. Vehicles began to arrive as soon as the gates opened at 10:00 a.m. and by 11:30 the main lot was full and participants were utilizing the overflow lot next door. Click on www.etaoffroad.com for a complete list of Trophy winners. Entertainment was provided by a live duo strumming guitars and singing songs most popular to the multi-aged crowd. The kiddies in attendance were treated to a face painting clown who was kept busy for more than 3…
