The King of the Hammers is only a week away! WOW! Time fly’s when you’re having fun! After a few sleepless nights and eating dinner off the work bench our rig is race ready! At this point we could enter this thing in a “Show-n-Shine” competition, but it won’t look like this for long! That’s okay; chicks dig dents, dirt and scratches! We’ll be sure to post some photos of the pits and the race. [flagallery gid=8 name=”Gallery”]

With the King of the Hammers race just two weeks away our crew at Pacific Fabrication continues to prep the truck to make sure it’s race ready.  Some of you may recognize this rig from the 2009 Petersen’s Ultimate Adventure covered in a few issues of the mag and of course the video.  Even the boss, “Jen” is putting in some time getting the bead locks ready for the big day! Congratulations to Apple Hill 4×4 owner Aaron Salvatori. Their new much larger 8,000 square foot building is currently under construction. Watch our blog for updates on their upcoming move and Grand Opening or visit applehill4x4.com for more information. Owner Aaron Salvatori has always been into Jeeps and trucks. Aaron worked full time as a diesel mechanic, modifying vehicles at night when his grandfather suggested he use a large storage building he owned to go into the aftermarket business. Aaron opened the business in 1998 on the site of an old orchard, hence the name Apple Hill 4×4. Apple Hill’s focus is on customer service and to be the leader in everything they do from maintenance to gears, modifications and suspension. Aaron states “we may not be the cheapest, but we will do the best work!”. [flagallery gid=2 name=”Applehill”]
