Keith Wilson of Wilson’s Offroad in Fayetteville, NC is a long time BDS distributor who demands the best products for his and his customer’s vehicles. This past weekend we took a road trip down to Georgia to take part in the Trucks Gone Wild Pro Stadium Trucks Race at East Coast Off Road Park. Keith’s been running a BDS 4.5” short arm kit on Jeep XJ for a few year’s now and when he can find the time away from the shop can be found launching the mighty little XJ over jumps and pushing the limits. After a fierce battle for position Keith edged out the competition finishing 1st in his modded Jeep XJ against a fleet of capable race trucks. Keith had this to say “This is the 5th time we have raced the 4.5 BDS suspension really hard and have yet to break it! Thanks so much BDS for your…

BDS Suspension sales rep Jason Shellhaas just cruised back into town from a road trip around the Pacific Northwest visiting some of our great distributors and getting involved with a couple events. Along the way we saw a number of BDS distributors including Street To Sand in Nevada, Advantage Tire, Gresham 4wd and Bend Truck Toys in Oregon, Body Armor and Rockridge 4WD in Washington and Jack-It and Fat Bob’s Garage in Utah. Along the way, Jason hung out with Randy and the rest of the crew over at Street to Sand Offroad during the 2013 Reno Offroad Expo. This is the 6th year for the Reno expo, and turnout improves every year as more people hear about the event. S2S had a great booth with a number of SEMA worthy and magazine featured trucks on display, sand rails, side-by-sides and other cool rigs. After driving all the way around the…

Another King of the Hammers is in the books and the guys from BDS are back home shaking the dust off, going on with stories of the and camaraderie and competition out in the lake bed.  Mike Maloney and Jason Shellhaas headed out to Johnson Valley for the week long competition and came back with this to say: …this event continues to expand and draw in larger crowds than ever before. The weather was all over the map and as motos, quads, Jeep, trucks, and buggies took to the terrain to be crowned the new King. In the main event on Friday  the competition came down to the wire with 2-time winner Shannon Campbell nipping at the heels of eventual winners Randy and David Slawson. In the Everyman challenge, BDS distributor Pacific Fabrication stepped up and ran one heck of a race, climbing his way to into 3rd place at…

We heard from Michael Wang, owner of BATT Customs (Boys And Their Toys), a BDS-distributor out of Beijing, China about another crazy trip he took in his BDS 7” performance coil-over lift kit equipped Toyota Tundra. We get updates from him periodically from some of the places he explores. He’s had this truck for a number of years running the BDS 7” high clearance kit and recently upgraded to the Fox 2.5” coilovers. His most recent adventure took him and a friend (who also runs a BDS lift, 4.5” high clearance kit on his Tundra) from Beijing to Inner Mongolia and back again racking up more than 15,000 miles on each of the Tundras. Terrain was a mix of highway, rocky pathways, and muddy backcountry, with both Tundras coming out from the journey unscathed. Thanks for the update Michael, glad to hear things are doing well. Keep up the great…
