Tundra Road Trip Across China
We heard from Michael Wang, owner of BATT Customs (Boys And Their Toys), a BDS-distributor out of Beijing, China about another crazy trip he took in his BDS 7” performance coil-over lift kit equipped Toyota Tundra. We get updates from him periodically from some of the places he explores. He’s had this truck for a number of years running the BDS 7” high clearance kit and recently upgraded to the Fox 2.5” coilovers. His most recent adventure took him and a friend (who also runs a BDS lift, 4.5” high clearance kit on his Tundra) from Beijing to Inner Mongolia and back again racking up more than 15,000 miles on each of the Tundras. Terrain was a mix of highway, rocky pathways, and muddy backcountry, with both Tundras coming out from the journey unscathed. Thanks for the update Michael, glad to hear things are doing well. Tundras at play halfway around the world
BDS Distributor BATT Customs out of Beijing, China sent us this video of a Toyota owners club meeting up to do a little 4Wheeling. Among the Toyotas were a BDS 4.5” lifted and BDS 7” lifted Tundra out to join in the fun. Seems like everyone enjoys a little snow wheeling!
T3 Challenge
Michael Wang from BDS Distributor BATT Customs in Beijing, China sent us some photos from the T3 Challenge, China’s largest off-road event each year. More than 20,000 fans of the off-road lifestyle come together for this 6 days event hosted by fblife.com in inner Mongolia. Teams of 3 vehicles (T3) compete in a number of challenges with the best time taking home the glory. Michael took on the challenge with a pair of BDS Suspension equipped Tundras and had a blast participating.
SEMA Ciape Show in China
BDS Suspension in China for the 2011 SEMA Ciape Show BDS’s Andy Barbieri has made the long journey back from China following another successful SEMA Ciape Show. The show, which has some similarities to the design of the SEMAShow in Las Vegas each November, brings in companies from all over the world to showcase their new automotive products to the expanding Chinese market. BDS made the trip out to Beijing for the show and to meet with current and prospective distributors of our top quality, American-manufactured products. Among the distributors Andy met up with were two of our current distributors, BATT Customs which owns the white Tundra with the 7” BDS Â lift and To Jeep Racing who gave Andy the opportunity to get a little 4wheeling in after organizing with the local Jeep club. BDS Suspension in China
BDS Suspension in China BDS Suspension landed in Beijing, China Monday in preparation for the SEMA CIAPE Show which starts today, September 7th,  and runs through the weekend. Hosted by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), this show has much in common with the SEMA Show held in Las Vegas each November (which BDS is attending in booth 30170, but more on that later). Companies from around the world are in attendance to looking to offer their products in this expanding market. The show is structured slightly different then the US SEMA Show as vendors hold a number of smaller one-on-one interactions in addition to the product showcase. BDS’s Andy Barbieri made the trip 1/2-way around the world to showcase some the new products BDS is offering for trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs. Andy spent part of the day yesterday visiting with distributors like Boys and their Toys Customs (BATT) in Beijing.…
Only lifted Tundra in China!
We received this note the other day from one of our newest distributors in Beijing, China. The waiting game is finally over, and now I’m riding my Big T with a BDS 7” lift every day! The truck turned out super refined! The ride quality is much better than the stock, It’s true!!! especially the 9500 series shocks are supreme! They are better than any brand out there! Man you have done a great job for developing such system! My Tundra so far is the only 7” lifted Truck in all China!
