BDS Heads South (Texas and Louisiana that is)

BDS hit the road last week with the BDS Ram 2500 in route to the Louisiana 4xFest in Hammond, LA with BDS Distributor Light Line 4×4. On the way down BDS Rep Travis Marshall made stops at a few of our distributor’s shops. First stop was to see Wes at Si Motorsports in Bossier City, LA who has an impressive showroom. From there he cruised over to visit Josh at OffRoad Innovations in West Monroe, LA who loyally sells BDS Suspension. Before the day was out Travis hit the road to check out Glass Tint Etc. in Alexandria, LA. Mike and the staff had great things to say about our quality parts and customer service. Starting the next morning he stopped at Lumberton Offroad in Beaumont, TX to chat with Robert and Daniel. These guys have been BDS distributors for over a decade and have a great operation going on down there. Following Lumberton Travis headed to Hurricane Offroad in Lake Charles, LA. Robbie and Shelby at Hurricane are a couple of ambitious young guys that have big plans for the shop and love selling BDS. Heading on down the road he stopped off to see Brian at Cajun Offroad  in Scott, LA who offers top notch installs and fab work. The final stop on our journey down South was Light Line in Baton Rouge, LA. Light Line has been in business for nearly 20 years and selling BDS for much of that time. Rickie runs a great operation down in Baton Rouge supplying quality parts and service to his customers.

The 4xFest went great and there was a huge turnout of mainly Jeeps to raise money for the TARC, an organization that enhances the lives of people affected by intellectual, developmental, and related disabilities through commitment to excellence in service , support, and advocacy. BDS set up with Light Line 4×4 to talk to customers and offer support.

Travis said following the trip “There were a few thousand miles driven in the heat, but what a great bunch of people in the South. Louisiana/Texas are definitely some of my favorite states to travel. Excellent food and friendly, laid back people. The BDS Ram 2500 held up well and road like a dream with 8” of lift and 40s. Thanks again to all the hospitality from the shops and people I met along the way, I look forward to making another trip down that way soon, just maybe in the winter next time.”
