This past weekend BDS Suspension hit the road in route to a pair of Pennsylvania 4wheel events, the Bloomsburg 4Wheel Jamboree and the Outback Offroad Adventure. BDS Reps Dave DeVormer and Ryan Snyders took the company’s TJ out for the weekend of wheeling and camping out at the park. The ORV park is owned and operated by the crew of Meridian Offroad in Butler, PA and Rob, Terry, and Jeff continue to be a great BDS distributor offering top notch customer service and installs. Their passion for the sport get them out to the park on the weekends and organize big events from time to time like this past weekend’s outing. The park has a variety of terrains and numerous obstacles to challenge every level of offroader. Dave and Ryan made it back with tons of stories from the wheeling and hanging out with the staff and other wheelers. Here’s what Dave had to say,
We arrived in Six Points about 9:30 Friday night where we were greeted by Rob, Terry, and Jeff from Meridian Offroad with some delicious sausage and corn on the cob.   After getting our tents setup, we played some washers and ended up staying up until 3AM.  We woke up to Jeff jumping on the trailer right next to my tent at about 7 am for early breakfast before the drivers meeting at 9:30.  First we ran the snake trail with no problems then we started over to the new side to hit the extreme ravine trails on the newer property.  The trails wind up a creek bed full of boulders and ledges, where we did had to winch a few times.  Everyone in our group made it through the trail without any casualties except for Skinny, a buggy on Rockwells with rear steer.  His tie rod broke, but that didn’t stop him, he was able to drag the buggy out of the woods with the rear tires pointing whatever direction they pleased.  We ended the day with some of Jeff’s amazing cheesy, bacon burgers.  The next trail day we covered porcupine trail, pinion trail, rockslide, extreme mud and climbed House Rock just before it started to rain.  Our group’s casualties were Alex’s front u-joint caps popping out and an XJ with bent steering linkage.  The day ended with a large raffle of prizes including a winch and BDS t-shirts.  The weekend had a good variety of rigs from extreme buggies to nearly stock jeeps.  The guys at Meridian Offroad have put together a great park and the BDS Outback Adventures never fails to be a great time to meet up with old friends and meet new ones at camp and on the trail.
