Our heart goes out to Baby Liam and the Henderson family. At only 7 months old, Liam was the victim of a traumatic brain injury while under the care of a daycare center. A fear that no parent ever hopes to see Liam, now 4 years old, suffered from shaken baby syndrome and has had an extremely difficult first few years of his life in and out of the hospital trying to overcome his disabilities and fighting to recover.
With the love and support of friends, family and coworkers and complete strangers baby Liam and the Henderson family have made steps towards recovery. However, mounting medical costs have left the family in need of extra support. In an effort to raise money and awareness Greg Henderson, Liam’s father, did what he does best and built a Jeep with the goal of raising funds with raffle tickets to win his Jeep. Nicknamed “Frankenbrute” this former Jeep Wrangler TJ has been transformed and outfitted with a number of unique upgrades by Greg and with the help of several companies supporting the cause and mission Greg was on.
Over the last year the Jeep was been seen all over the country at car shows and trail rides as Greg and his family raise awareness and sell raffle tickets to win this one-of-a-kind Jeep. We’ve been lucky enough to spend time with Greg over the year, seen Frankenbrute in action and get involved with the build. If you haven’t had a chance to hear Baby Liam’s story or buy a raffle ticket for the Jeep time is running out. This weekend (October 11, 2014) at Rocks & Valleys Offroad Park in Harrison, MI Frankbrute will be given away. All it takes is one raffle ticket to win it and all the support goes to help support Liam’s recovery. No need to be present to win, this is your chance to support a worthwhile cause and win a unbelievable Jeep.
