BDS 3″ Radius Arm Systems for ’13+ RAM 3500 Trucks

Coldwater, MI— April 14, 2015— BDS Suspension adds to its stellar lineup of 2-8″ suspension lift options for the late model 2013-2015 RAM 3500 trucks with new 3″ radius arm systems designed to give you all the performance of a full-out lift system, but at a smaller height allowing the use of up to 35″ tires. This new system is built around a pair of massive tubular replacement radius arms. These arms are built to handle the use and abuse RAM 3500 owners demand and far surpass the factory stamped steel arms with thick wall tubing and support gussets. They are formed inward to allow for addition tire clearance of oversized tires and incorporate factory style 3-1/4″ rubber bushings to minimize road vibrations while allowing for long, maintenance-free bushing life.  The new radius arms mount right into the factory locations so installation is simple and clean.  Factory alignment adjustability is maintained using the OE eccentric adjusters and the arms are designed to correct the geometry for 2-4″ inches of lift.

In addition to the heavy-duty, high-performance radius arms, this new system includes a pair of dual-rate front Pro-Ride coil springs to improve the ride and performance of these 1-ton trucks. A heavy-duty turnbuckle style adjustable track bar is included to recenter the axle. BDS greaseable front sway bar links reset the sway bar to the optimal operating angle. Rounding out this kit are brake line relocation brackets, 2″ rear tapered block kit with black e-coated u-bolts and your choice of BDS 5500-series or Fox 2.0 performance gas shocks. Set your late model RAM 3500 up to perform in any terrain with BDS Suspension.

I bought the 4 inch lift for a 2013 Ram 3500 a little over a year ago and I saw these came out and like the look of them. Then I read that they wouldn’t fit the 4 inch kit I got, and was wondering why they wouldn’t?

Hey Cody, thanks for reaching out to us. The quick answer is the radius arms will fit your RAM 3500. The arms are designed to correct suspension geometry and set the caster with 2-4” of lift. Currently you have 4” frame mounted drop brackets on to mount the factory radius arms. You’ll need to remove them and mount the new radius arms into the factory frame mounted location at 4” of lift. If you have any other questions feel free to contact us at (517) 279-2135

I just finished a complete instal of a 3″ radius arm lift, track bar, with a dual stabilizer kit, 2.0 fox shocks all round. Carli 3″ full rear leaf pack.
Truck and lift feel great but I’m having a issue when parked, my steering wheel won’t turn my tires more then a few inches back and forth until I start rolling????? Please help me understand why.

Hey Devon, its not an issue with the lift itself, its likely has to do more with the factory steering box having trouble turning the oversized tires (larger contact patch, more resistance when not moving) combined and the additional force of the steering stabilizers. This would be a topic to discuss with BDS tech support as they’ll have more input on the topic, you can reach them at (517) 279-2135 or tech-bds@sporttruckusainc.com

Hey Joel,
The wheels are from 22×12 American Force, I don’t know the exact style (these were customer supplied) but they look similar to the Sprint, but not an exact match
