Moab 2010 – Day 1
After a long and anxious 24hr drive, we finally made it in to Moab and prepped the BDS TJ for hitting the trails with Crawl Magazine. The town has been taken over by jeeps, yotas, and full size trucks towing trailers. About 10 minutes outside of town we met up with Crawl Magazine at BFE to run some trails. Crawl debuted their new buggy which didn’t disappoint out on the trails. After a quick drivers meeting we headed out to run the Green Day trail following Larry from Crawl in his yellow LJ. Watching Larry smash in the driver’s door of his rig seemed like a good idea so we followed suit and there were many more that followed. What made for some great photos for everyone else left our driver’s door mangled. On the positive-side our door is closing better now, being that previously it didn’t due to carnage…
JP Magazine Install Article Part 2: Finishing Up The Back End Of Our XJ
Part 1 of Vern Simons’ article on jpmagazine.com featured the installation of a 4.5″ BDS XJ Long Arm kit. This month Vern tells us how the new kit is driving: “After pounding our Patriot Blue XJ on and off-road over the last few thousand miles, it’s clear that the BDS 4.5″ long-arm kit with our addition of large bump stops and sheetmetal trimming is just about perfect for 35-inch tires.” Vern glad to hear you’re having a great time blasting down the trails! Charlie’s Awesome Jeep | PA Jeeps, Inc
Recently we received this email and picture from Charlie Stevens, VP of PA Jeeps, Inc. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to meet Charlie at any of the PA Jeeps shows, you know he’s a great guy and a loyal BDS customer. By purchasing his mods during the “Make Tracks to Cabela’s with BDS” promotion, Charlie received a $100 Cabela’s gift card courtesy of BDS. Thanks Charlie…enjoy! “I purchased my 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport right off the showroom floor and within two weeks had it delivered to Hoak’s Four Wheel Drive Center in Wrightsville, PA. Hoak’s 4WD Center installed a 3″ BDS Suspension system and 33″ BFG KM Mud Terrains. This started my personal relationship with the folks at Hoak’s and BDS Suspension. In 2006 I asked Hoak’s to install a Sid Row engine and transmission skid plate, a set of BDS lower fixed control arms in the front and add…
