Students Lift Cherokee
John Hersey High School’s Automotive/CAD/M&T students get hands on training with BDS Suspension products.  BDS donated a Jeep XJ Cherokee 6.5” long arm kit for a class project. The class also added 33×12.50 Dunlop Mud Rovers on 15×10 Cragar Soft 8 Wheels. The students designed a custom front bumper using AutoDesk Inventor. They cut out the panels, their school logo, and Jeep with a CNC plasma cutter and then welded it together. Two auxillary lights and ¾” D rings were added. Future plans are to fabricate a back bumper and cut BDS into it. Both bumpers will be powdercoated and the cutouts will be backlit.
New Name — New Look
The MAC ATTACK has new name and a new look, now known as the AFTER BURNER, the comments at the Springfield, Mo. jamboree were great. Everyone likes the new look. The race at Springfield is on asphalt with dirt jumps making for an interesting course, especially in the corners. There were three shows, with the nation’s best competitors. The new and improved AFTER BURNER team picked off a win at each show, having the fastest time for the weekend and 1st place for the best appearing truck (thanks to the vinyl wrap from Hale Printing in Davenport, Iowa).

The “YACHT CLUB” HD | Real Wheels Accessories
Designed & created by Real Wheels Accessories
The “Yacht Club HD” is based on General Motors Corporation’s amazing 2007 Silverado 3500HD Dually pick-up. The vehicle rides on Accuride polished aluminum wheels wrapped in road-gripping Toyo tires. Using the newly released RealMAG hub cover product from Real Wheels, these standard 22.5” aluminum wheels look like custom MAG wheels. The suspension has been raised courtesy of BDS Suspension. The two-tone “wave” paint scheme, along with hundreds of blue LED lights from SreetGlow compliment the nautical theme.
