BDS Project SD126 Build Update 2
To catch up on Episode 1 and get the backstory on this build, click the link. So picking off where we left off on the last build update, teardown is well underway as the team is dismantling this new Super Duty down to its core in preparation to start building it back up into a one-off custom standard cab, short bed (SCSB) 2017 Raptor Super Duty. With dozens of parts on order and several of them already arriving the build team gets the bed and body panels pulled, unbolt the seats and other interior components all with the goal to start mocking up new body panels fitment and measuring out the interior to start on fabrication. Underneath this truck the team is starting to develop several new suspension components for this Super Duty, some will find their way into production, others won’t. BDS on Drummond Island for JeepEnd 2017
This past weekend the BDS crew made the trip up to Drummond Island in the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan for the 3rd Annual JeepEnd Adventure. With Project KJ in tow behind Project Ascension the guys made their way of for a weekend of incredible views, challenging 4wheeling and great camaraderie. BDS goes to Bantam Jeep Fest
This past weekend the BDS crew loaded up and headed east for the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival in Butler, PA, the birthplace of the Jeep. This event brings together thousands of Jeepers for a weekend of activities both day and night. From the vendor show and obstacle course to trail rides and and downtown Jeep invasion party this show has something for everyone. With everything from vintage WWII Jeeps to late model JKs on hand this show does a great job showing the heritage of Jeep.
