RCRocs Series Finale
The Rausch Creek Rockcrawling & Offroad Competition Series finale was held Saturday, September 13, 2008, and Ballpeen Racing had a blast! They did suffer some mechanical problems on the second course.
New Name — New Look
The MAC ATTACK has new name and a new look, now known as the AFTER BURNER, the comments at the Springfield, Mo. jamboree were great. Everyone likes the new look. The race at Springfield is on asphalt with dirt jumps making for an interesting course, especially in the corners. There were three shows, with the nation’s best competitors. The new and improved AFTER BURNER team picked off a win at each show, having the fastest time for the weekend and 1st place for the best appearing truck (thanks to the vinyl wrap from Hale Printing in Davenport, Iowa).
PA All Breeds Jeep Show
Team Ballpeen racing brought their Jeep Cherokee XJ with a 4″ BDS Suspension lift to the 13th annual PA All Breeds Jeep Show (at the York County Fairgrounds) to take over the obstacle course. Every year hundreds of people come to this show to check out the new products that vendors bring, enter the show-n-shine competition and even attempt the obstacle course.
Sonny Dohrmund – After Burner – 2008 Season
The After Burner Racing Team has wrapped up the Special Events Jamboree points series with still one more event to come in Indianapolis, Indiana. Sonny and the After Burner Team has traveled a lot of miles through the summer with some ups and downs, breaking a few parts on the truck. The final event will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana September 19-21, Sonny has already aquired enough points to win the Championship title for the 2008 Season before the finials.
