Rock Spyder 4×4 Anniversary Celebration
Rock Spyder 4×4 celebrated their second anniversary with a Customer Appreciation Day Sunday May 3rd, at their store in Markham, Ontario Canada. Over 250 people attended, including BDS’ Chris Bowers. The weather cooperated and a great BBQ lunch was provided. “It was awesome to see all the Jeeps and trucks. It is encouraging to see the support we get from our customers and friends” according to Rock Spyder 4×4 owner Jim McDonald. Over 75 Jeeps and trucks were on display and everyone who attended had a great day of fun.
BDS Supports Tread Lightly! Charity Auction
Tread Lightly! will hold its 2nd Annual Tread Lightly! Charity Auction on eBay June 1 -11 with more than 175 products donated from companies across the country. All money raised will go to address urgent recreation issues on public recreation sites and off-road trails. Auction items include a new Grizzly 550 ATV from Yamaha and a custom-built 2007 Jeep Wrangler from BDS Suspension, as well as other outdoor gear and accessories.
YJ Raffle benefits Stay the Trail
Most recently the YJ was at the Pepsi Center in Denver CO for the promotion between the Colorado Avalanche and the Stay the Trail campaign. Proceeds from the game were donated to Stay the Trail. Vendors and clubs were there to talk about the CoA4WDCi land use project, selling raffle tickets for the YJ and to promote Mile Hi Jeep Club and the Colorado Association of 4WD Clubs. Stay the Trail is a Colorado campaign for responsible recreation to educate people about proper land use.
Win a YJ with a 2″ BDS Lift!
The Colorado Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs, in partnership with BDS Suspension, will be raffling off a 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ. The YJ will be raffled off Saturday December 5th, 2009, at the Jeffco Fairgrounds Event Center in Golden Colorado and features a personalized 2″ system with Glide Ride leaf springs covered by the BDS “No Fine Print” warranty. Tickets are just $3 each and are available from High Trails with proceeds being used in part for the CoA4WDCi land use fund and scholarship fund. 24 Hours Later
Sal came back to school today and apparently had a good time with his new lift over the weekend.
Another Jeep Added to the Hersey Garage
We added another BDS lifted Jeep to the Hersey garage this weekend. Sal Canale ordered a 3″ lift kit for his 08 JK from Attitude Performance in Arlington Heights, IL and picked up a set of Dunlop Mud Rover 35×12.50 to mount on 17×8 Cragar Soft 8’s. We started installing the lift just after 10am and the truck was back on the road by 12:30. Everything fit perfectly and the truck rides great.
