Who doesn’t love exploring the great outdoors, taking the road less traveled, the beaten path? All of us here at BDS Suspension love spending free time off-road whether its on a local trail, cruising the sand dunes, or exploring the U.P. and camping along the way. With Earth Day just around the corner once again, its important to remember we need to do our part to help out. Finding time to clean up your local trail, getting involved with organizations like TreadLightly! and doing your part to 4wheel responsibly will help keep trails open and in great shape for generations to come. Many ORV areas around the country are under attack, however. Government and private groups are trying to limit land access for off-road vehicles. Areas like Paragon Adventure Park in Pennsylvania and Tellico Trail System in North Carolina have been forced to close in recent years and countless others…

Jeep Owners 3rd Annual Go Topless Day May 8, 2010
Mark your calendars, the 3rd annual Worldwide Go Topless day for Jeep owners is scheduled May 8th, 2010. This event unites Jeep fans everywhere, with over 45 Jeep clubs participating and enjoying the day sans top in 2009. Jeep clubs worldwide are joining in with local picnics, trail runs, clean-ups and social events. Going topless will also raise awareness for a cause this year, as a portion of the proceeds from t-shirt sales will be donated to Tread Lightly! Contact your local Jeep club for more information.
Nester Wins BDS Wrangler in Tread Lightly! Auction
The nonprofit organization Tread Lightly! held its 2nd Annual Tread Lightly! Charity Auction on eBay June 1 -11 with more than 175 products donated from companies across the country. The Featured Auction item was this custom-built 2007 Jeep Wrangler from BDS Suspension. This JK came equipped with a BDS 6 ½” Long Arm 4-Link suspension system, a Warn Power Plant Dual Force HP winch, 37” Mickey Thompson MTZ tires and 18” Classic II wheels. The winning bidder was Matthew Nester of Roscommon, Michigan. “We’re happy to support the crucial efforts of Tread Lightly!. We are pleased to make such a significant contribution and look forward to participating in next year’s auction,” said BDS President Steve Olmstead.
