Come Wheeling with BDS! BDSÂ Suspension is hitting the road this weekend heading to Eau Claire, Pennsylvania for the 4×4 Outback Adventure, presented by Meridian Off Road Center.The park boasts trails of all levels with a healthy mix of mud ravines, scenic trails, rocky trails, hill climbs, scenic fields and rock gardens to challenge every level of off-roader. Come out and meet BDS Reps Carter and Jeff as they hit the trails in the BDS Ultimate Adventure TJ. The event runs Saturday and Sunday (June 11-12, 2011). BDS supports the Villalobos Rescue Center
BDS supports the VRC: I think it’s safe to say, most of us have a soft spot for dogs. I’m not talking about Dog the Bounty Hunter or close friends we holler at “What up Dog!?”, I’m talking about the 4-legged companions that wag their tail when you come around and get excited at a game called fetch. Recently BDS Suspension had the opportunity to get involved with Tia Torres and the Villalobos Rescue Center in California. Villalobos Rescue Center (VRC), the focus of Animal Planet’s  TV show “Pit Bulls and Parolees”, offers a 2nd chance to both at life for the rescued dogs and the parolees it employs. After making the move to a larger facility up in the Tehachapi Mountains they quickly found new challenges with the mountainous terrain, which was difficult to traverse in their stock vehicles. Back from the Open House | Eastern Truck & Accessories
BDS President Steve Olmstead is back from his east coast trip to BDS distributor, Eastern Truck & Accessories for their 9th Annual Open House event. Each year this event grows in the number of attendance, shop size, and the amount of funds raised. As with year’s past, ETA raised money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a cause dear to Mike and the crew at ETA. A record $12,000 was raised over the course of the day as many came to the shop to check out the truck show, see the new showroom, eat some BBQ, and try to win some of the great raffle prizes. Following the show they held a poker run that finished at the Tiki Bar for a bite to eat, a cold beer, and to award trophies to the truck show winners. 1st Jambo of the Year, Lima 4Wheel Jamboree
Well it’s that season again, the weather is finally getting warm for us Michigan folks and the truck/jeep shows are in full swing. This past weekend, Lima Ohio played host to the 1st of three 4Wheel Jamboree National events. While the ground was a bit soggy from rain earlier in the week, the weather held out over the weekend and thousands made their way to the Allen County Fairgrounds for this 26th annual show. BDS made the trip out for the show with a newly wrapped trailer, Ultimate Adventure Jeep, and displays showing off some of our new products. We had the opportunity to chat with customers, check out some awesome show trucks o display, and watch the monster trucks run. Eastern Truck & Accessories Open House this weekend
