These new systems bring all the benefits of the existing 6″ performance coilover systems now in a lower 4″ lift height pretuned for optimal performance right out of the box. The new 4″ FOX coilovers are available both as an upgrade for current 4″ equipped trucks as well as a complete systems to transform your stock or leveled vehicle to tackle the trail and urban jungle. As with all BDS lift kits this new 4″ performance coilover systems are backed by Factory Protection Plus (FPP) offering peace of mind whether you’re on the road or off the beaten path. 4″ DSC Coilover Systems: BDS now offers 4″ Performance Coilover Systems for the 2007-2016 GM 1500 trucks and SUVs. These new suspension systems utilize the tried and true high-clearance IFS design that has made BDS the preferred suspension lift for late model GM trucks now available with precision tuned FOX 2.5″ remote coilover to enhance the truck or SUVs performance on and off-road with the strength to stand up to any abuse you can throw at it. At the core of these new lift systems BDS supplies a pair of 1/4″ steel high clearance crossmembers and differential skid plate to reposition the lower arms and add protection. These combined with the CNC machined ductile iron replacement steering knuckles creates a solid subframe and to correct suspension and steering geometry to be compatible with the factory installed ESC system. Up front the 4WD kits use a multipoint differential relocation kit and CV spacers to securely reposition the front differential to correct CV axle angle and allowing for the use of the stock front driveshaft. Also included for the front are replacement tie rod ends, longer sway bar links, front heavy duty skid plate, brake line brackets, and FOX factory series 2.5 coilovers with the DSC reservoirs. These FOX coilovers feature a smooth bore and honed seamless alloy body, 7/8″ hardened steel carbon shaft, Eibach coil springs, black anodized machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum mounts and FOX’s DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment technology. DSC is the next big thing in suspension performance allowing for easy adjustment of the your vehicles’s suspension compression dampening so you can dial in the ideal ride performance to soak up the bumps, both large and small. The DSC has 12 adjustment points for the high speed compression as well as 10 adjustment points for the low speed compression allowing you to make large or small changes to further improve your performance. Adjustments can be made by simply twisting the “blue” high speed and “gold” low speed compression knobs located on the end of the remote reservoir of the FOX 2.5 coilovers. No tools or shop adjustments needed, allowing you to tune the suspension out on the trail. (See below for a DSC instructional video) For the Chevy/GMC trucks, the rear of these 4″ performance coilover systems is available your choice of cast iron lift block or GlideRide leaf springs. Longer u-bolts and FOX 2.0 IFP gas performance series shocks round out this kit allowing for 33-35″ tires to be installed. For Chevy/GMC SUVs, BDS offers rear both 2″ and 3″ coil spring spacer options to lift and level the stance. Also included are a pair of adjustable upper control arms to dial in the rear pinion angle, heavy duty rear track bar bracket, extended sway bar links, bump stop extensions and Fox 2.0 IFP gas performance series shocks.
