BDS New Product Announcement #238: 2016 RAM 3500 Lift Kits Now Shipping

BDS Suspension is now shipping a full lineup of suspension lifts for the 2016 RAM 3500 4WD trucks. Available in 2", 3", 4", 5.5- 6", and 8" lift heights, these new kits are designed to improve the performance, functionality, and curb appeal of your late model RAM HD while retaining the handling characteristics and drivability RAM owners have come to expect. All kits are offer with your choice of BDS 5500-series hydraulic shocks as well as precision tuned Fox 2.0 gas shocks for superior performance.

2" Leveling Kits: The 2" leveling kit uses a pair of heavy-duty fabricated steel coil spacers to level the stance and allow for up to 35" tires to be installed. The spacers are pitched and indexed to work with the unique coil mount design of the late model RAM HD trucks and are secured to the coil bucket to maintain proper indexing when the coil springs are unloaded. Extended polyurethane bump stops are used to control suspension compression along with your choice of 5500-series or Fox 2.0 gas shocks.

3" Radius Arm Lift Kits: The 3" radius arm system gives all the benefits of a high performance system at a lower height designed for 35" tires. Along with progressive rate front coil springs, the kit includes heavy duty high clearance tubular radius arms with large 3.5" bushings, a solid stock turnbuckle style adjustable track bar, new spherical bushing extended swaybar links , 2" rear block kit and your choice of shocks.

4-6" Standard Lift Kits: These kits are designed to retain the factory radius arms by relocating the frame mounting location using a pair of 1/4" thick steel drop brackets to maintain suspension geometry. The drop brackets key off the factory mounts and tie into the frame for extra strength. Also included in the kit are specially designed gas or diesel engine specific progressive rate full length ProRide front coil springs offering improved performance across all terrains. Rounding out these kits are heavy duty fabricated front track bar brackets, forged drop pitman arm, extended bump stops, brake line relocation brackets, high clearance tranny crossmember and indexing ring (5.5-6" kits only), rear block and u-bolt or optional full leaf pack (5.5-6" kits only) and your choice of shocks at all 4 corners giving clearance for up to 37" tires.

4-6" 4-Link Lift Kits: These kits are designed to convert the factory radius arm over to a stronger 4-link design offering improved stability, handling and articulation. The kit is designed with 1/4" fabricated 4-link brackets that key into the factory radius arm pockets for added strength. The 4-link design improves drivability by limited castor change to less than 1-degree throughout wheel travel. These kits also include gas or diesel engine specific full length progressive rate ProRide coil springs, front track bar bracket, forged drop pitman arm, extended bump stops, brake line relocation brackets, high clearance tranny crossmember and t-case indexing ring (5.5-6" kits only), rear block and u-bolt or optional full leaf pack (5.5-6" kits only) and your choice of shocks at all 4 corners giving clearance for up to 37" tires.

8" 4-Link Lift Kits: The 8" 4-link system is built around the same 4-link conversion system that is used for the 4" and 6" kits. By converting the stock radius arm front suspension to a 4-link, better control the caster change through full suspension travel is achieved for better handling characteristics along with more stability and strength. Dual rate front 8" coil springs are designed to work in harmony with the 4-link system to give excellent on-road handling and ride while still being able to handle the heavy loads a 1 ton truck was built for. Steering and track bar correction are included in the form of a dropped pitman arm and track bar relocation bracket. New extended sway bar links are included to correct the front sway bar angle. Front stainless steel extended brake lines and bump stop extensions round out the included front components. At the t-case BDS supplies either 6-bolt and 8-bolt t-case indexing kits to fit both transmissions offered by RAM along with a new transmission crossmember. In the rear a the kit is offerd with both a block/add-a-leaf setup as well as a replacement spring set to achieve a leveled stance with room for up to 40" tires.
