Winning the Baja 1000 | Apdaly Lopez and RPM Offroad Race Team

Not long after the dust settles, so to speak, from the SEMA Show each year the offroad racing elite take to the challenging terrain of the Baja peninsula of Mexico for one of the toughest endurance races in the world, the Baja 1000. This year marked the 50th annual running of the race with nearly 50 classes of trucks, buggies, quads and motos racing under the flag of Score International Off Road Racing. This years competition was fierce with some of the biggest names in offroad racing battling it out for top honors. One name that has been consistently finishing near or at the top of the leader board is that of Apdaly Lopez who is part of a father/son racing team for RPM Offroad. At just 22 years old, Tecate, Mexico local Apdaly has been earned his place among the top offroad racers.

Over the years BDS Suspension has partnered with RPM Offroad both as an authorized dealer and on their racing program. Congratulations to Apdaly Lopez and the entire team from RPM Offroad on their overall win at the 50th annual Baja 1000 finishing the 1134.4mile course in 19 hours, 53 minutes and 36 seconds.
