For a number of years the off road community has descended upon Louisville, KY in the spring of each year for the Unlimited Off Road Show at the fairgrounds. At the end of last years show, show promoters felt like a change was necessary. This is a big risk, with Louisville being a very successful show, but the new venue was so exciting, the risk just had to be taken. Needless to say, the risk paid off! Unlimited Off Road Show: Welcome to Nashville!!
With spring-type weather (rain, rain, and more rain), the forecast for the whole weekend, we really did not know what to expect as we arrived at the Nashville fairgrounds to set up for the weekend. The fairgrounds are a very unique venue for all vendors. Some may say the buildings were dated, but to us, the age of the buildings and the layout of the venue added to the unique flavor of the weekend, and it was just the right setting to show off the best suspension parts in the industry! Thursday evening the table was set for an off road feast. Vendors had come from far and wide to show off what they had and make the introduction to a great city and its off road enthusiasts.
Friday morning kicked off with the VIP crowd getting into the show more than an hour early, and what a crowd it was. Local Jeep clubs had arrived, as well has folks playing hookie from those last few hours of work for the week. By Saturday morning, the rains had moved in, but that did nothing to slow the crowds down. Thousands showed up, asked questions, purchased products and enjoyed all that the event had to offer. Each evening there were events to mix it up in the great city of Nashville, as well as the vendors of the show. All in all, we had an absolute blast in Nashville, and cannot wait to see what next year brings!
