Four months ago, the BDS team didn't know this event would even take place. Instead, KOH turned out to be an action-packed, non-stop party -- with social-distancing of course. Team BDS set up a giant tent where racers and fans could hang out and watch the live feed. The barbecue cranked out food for days. ..and there was plenty to see on and off the course in Hammertown.
Saturday brought out the big boys, the 4400 class. Kevin Stearns had the 11 car looking good and dialed in. A minor issue during prerunning had the team working overtime to get ready for a qualifying attempt. Kevin was smart, driving the car fast, but also testing the team’s solutions on the course and qualified 36th out of 90+ racers. Not a bad spot to start from, considering that all in attendance said lap 3 was going to be the biggest challenge of the week. Unfortunately, race day had other plans for Kevin, but regardless of the outcome, the BDS 11 car looked amazing, performed as designed, and got plenty of camera time itself.
Be sure to add King of the Hammers to your bucket list!

Another big FOX win goes to Kyle Chaney on claiming the title of 2021 UTV King of the Hammers. (Pictured on the right)
We were excited to check out the Bronco while out at KOH. This is one vehicle that we've all been waiting a long time to have back out on the market. We got to check out the 4600 class race Bronco, but otherwise, we didn't get too many sneak peeks. We are still on the edge of our seats waiting for some real seat time with the new Ford Bronco platform.
BDS proudly displayed it's latest custom build project -- the "Work/Play" 2021 Ford F150 Platinum Hybrid in FOX's KOH booth. We built this rig for the Ford Auto Nights event in the fall of 2020. You can learn all about this rig [here]. This one-of-a-kind rig -- with its long list of accessories and features -- gained lots of attention at KOH.
