Coldwater, MI: BDS Suspension adds complete 3", 5" and 6.5" high clearance lift systems for the 2023 model year Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks. Based around the tried and true high clearance technology that has made BDS the go to for GM suspension lifts, these systems have been designed from the ground up for the 2020-2023 HDs to get the more out of these trucks with the most ground clearance on the market. These new lift systems offer comfortable handling and capability. While some companies build "kits" to fit larger tires, BDS Suspension prides itself in engineering complete suspension systems designed to take your vehicle's performance to the next level while retaining OE-level functionality.

3" Lift Kits: Designed for simple bolt-on installation, these 3" lift kits allow clearance for up to 35" tires. At the heart of these systems are a pair of heavy duty tubular upper control arms (UCAs) designed for improve strength and allow for additional suspension travel. These new control arms are built from thick wall 1.5" DOM tubing, and use an indexed ball joint cup to reposition the upper ball joints. These arms come fully assembled right out of the box with high quality greasable ball joints and rubber bushings for long life, quiet operation and superior corrosion resistance over uniballs and heims. Along with the control arms, a pair of indexed cast steel torsion bar keys are supplied up front to lift vehicle. A small differential relocation kit is supplied to correct CV axle operating angles without effecting ground clearance. To eliminate sway bar interference, a pair of sway bar relocation brackets is used which maintains proper operating angle. In the rear a 2" block and u-bolt kit is used to create a level to slightly tail high stance when unloaded. Rounding out these kits are your choice of either specially tuned FOX 2.0 performance series IFP shocks or step up to the FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Series DSC adjustable shocks for next level performance. These shocks feature a larger 2.5" diameter aluminum alloy body, large 7/8" hardened chrome shaft, proprietary internals and a remote reservoir with DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment for easily tuning ride quality.

5"/6.5" Lift Kits: At the heart of these 5"/6.5" lift systems, BDS utilizes a pair of 1/4" thick laser cut high clearance crossmembers to maximize clearance and provide a solid mounting point for the OE lower control arms. These paired with the heavy duty front skid plate create a rigid subframe while adding protection for vital steering and driveline components. In place of the factory steering knuckles are a pair of specially designed ductile iron replacement steering knuckles are supplied to maintain proper steering geometry for ESC system compatibility. The front differential is repositioned with BDS's multipoint relocation bracket system to secure the front differential to keep CV axle angles at a minimum. To help maximize clearance a pair of specially designed torsion bar relocations brackets are supplied to mount to the lower control arms to retain the factory high clearance frame mounted crossmember. A pair of BDS-branded sway bar drop brackets used to correct the operating angle of the factory sway bar along with extended length braided stainless steel brake lines. Rounding out the front of this kit are your choice of the NX2-series twin tub gas shocks, FOX 2.0 performance series IFP gas shocks or step up to the FOX 2.5 performance elite series DSC adjustable shocks for next level performance. These shocks feature a larger 2.5" diameter aluminum alloy body, large 7/8" hardened chrome shaft, proprietary internals and a remote reservoir with DSC (dual speed compression) adjustment for easily tuning ride quality.

Also included, BDS supplies brake line and ABS line relocation brackets allow the use of factory brake lines. Lastly a matching set of NX2, FOX 2.0 or FOX 2.5 shocks are supplied to compliment the front setup. All kits come finished in a durable textured black powdercoat and sent with all hardware packs to complete the install along with step-by-step installation instructions. All BDS kits include Factory Protection Plus for the ultimate extended warranty to include BDS's No Fine Print Warranty, ESC system compatibility and a 5year-100mile drivetrain warranty to match the dealer. When will the 6.5 lift with the Fox 2.5 kit be available? What is the price of the Kit? Is the coil over conversion kit for 20-23 HD still happening or has it been canceled. Please let me know I have been waiting for the coil over kit but I would be willing to buy the kit with the 2.5’s asap.

Please let me know.

Hey Michael, FOX 2.5 PE (shocks) will be hitting the site in the next week or so and begin shipping. The FOX 2.5 PE (coilover) conversion is going to be out early 2023 – You can check out our update video from SEMA here.

At this point we’re waiting on the coilovers to arrive, expecting kits to begin shipping late Q1 2023

6.5″ coilover kits will begin shipping in the next couple weeks, keep an eye out for the official announcement on our site and social media pages

Hey there I purchased a 2014 Silverado 1500 ltz 4wd and noticed it has a 5” bds lift kit but I did notice that the rear end seems to sit lower then the front ! Would that be something to do with the lift or would that be something to do with the leaf springs ?

Hey Matthew,
On the 14-18 Chevy 1500 4WD trucks we offer a few lift kit sizes, 2″, 4″, 6″, and 8″ (based on the front lift netted). We typically do a slightly smaller lift in the back to level out the stance, eliminate the factory nose-low rake and replace the stock rear block rather than stack on top of them. Not knowing which lift height (4″ or 6″) you have, how tail-low it’s sitting or how you have the truck set up you likely have a few options, a taller lift block (we offer 4″ and 5″ blocks), add an add-a-leaf (common on 4-door trucks w/ the 6″ to get an extra 1-1.5″ in the rear), or swap to our leaf spring which have more arch and a slightly higher load capacity. My recommendation would be to take some measurements on the rear blocks in there and the difference in front-rear ride height to give our customer service team a call so they can offer up suggestions. You can reach them at (517) 279-2135 or sales-bds@ridefox.com

Hey Carter,

Is there any new updates on pricing or availability of the coil over lift kit for the 2020-2023 Chevrolet 2500HD. If you could provide an approximate price range I would be grateful or if there is any specifics available?
Thank you in advance.
V/r

Hey Michael,
Look for the 6.5″ C/O kits to be out in the next 30-60 days. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but expect to see it in the ballpark of our C/O offerings for the 11-19 HD trucks.

Thank you very much for the info. Any way you can speed that up to Tomorrow LOL? very excited cant wait. How about a pre-order option?

is there going to be a coilover conversion for the 2022 chevy 3500hd DRW. would really love to put coilovers on my 2022 3500hd daully.

Hey James,
short answer yes. We have C/O options coming out soon for the ’20+ HD trucks. The 6.5″ lift height will be the first available, other sizes in the months to come. Kits options will fit the 2500HD, 3500HD SRW, and 3500HD DRW trucks.

It can, the majority of the components are shared between out 5″ and 6.5″ lift kits making it easy convert if over. Contact our sales team for a parts list and to discuss options – (517) 279-2135 or sales-bds@ridefox.com
