Chevy/GMC 2500HD Driveshaft Boot Extension2001-2010 GM 3/4-Ton and 1-Ton Trucks 4WDColdwater, MI—September 5, 2013— BDS now offers a driveshaft boot extension for the front of lifted 2001-2010 Chevy/GMC 2500HD trucks. The HD factory front driveshaft boot is made of a stiff rubber that gets less pliable as it ages and is exposed to the elements. With ample slip available from the factory front driveshaft most lift kits retain the stock unit without the need to lengthen the shaft. The new boot extension allows the factory boot to be reinstalled once lifted and is designed to eliminate premature wear caused by over-stretching. Precision machined from aluminum, the boot extension is extremely durable and utilizes 2 internal o-rings for a sealed and precise fit over the driveshaft, t-case output and boot. The extension is available as an upgrade for most lifted ’01-10 HDs as well as included in all BDS 4.5″ and 7″ High Clearance Lift Kits.
