BDS Dual SHock Hoop KIts for New Ram HD Trucks2013-2014 Dodge Ram 1-ton 4WD & 2014 Dodge Ram 3/4-ton 4wdColdwater, MI—June 2, 2014 BDS Suspension now offers a dual front shock mounting system for late model RAM HD trucks. Built for use on lifted 2013-2014 RAM 3500 and 2014 RAM 2500 4wd trucks, this new shock hoop setup allows for the installation of dual front shocks at each corner for improved dampening capability and added control; perfect for dual purpose trucks spending time on road and off the beaten path.
The dual shock hoop is designed to integrate with both 4″ and 6″ BDS radius arm kits and 4-link systems. The hoop is built from 1.75″ x 0.188″ wall DOM tubing with a reinforced mounting tab to tie into both the frame rail and factory upper shock mount for a sturdy mount for the dual shock setup. The brackets are finished in a durable textured black powdercoating with a stainless steel “BDS” badge on the hoop.
The kit requires minor welding to add a support gussets and steering stops. The dual shock hoop accepts both BDS-5500 shocks or Fox 2.0 performance gas shocks. Add the BDS dual shock hoop setup to your late model lifted RAM for improved performance.

Will ur all’s dual shock front kits work on a 2015 ram 2500
Hi Joe, thanks for your interest in BDS Suspension. These dual shock hoop kits will work on all ’13-18 RAM 3500 and ’14-18 RAM 2500 4WD trucks. At the time time this original post came out (in 2014) they hadn’t been confirmed for the newer trucks yet. Depending on how much lift your RAM has I can get you part numbers for the bracket as well as the shocks to go with them. We offer dual NX2 or dual FOX 2.0 shocks to fit applications from 2″ to 8″ of lift.
I have a 6 inch bds lift with singl fox shocks in front will this work to convert from my single shocks to the dual fronts?

This dual shock hoop kit is designed for 2013-2018 RAM 3500 4WD and 2014-2018 RAM 2500 4WD trucks to convert from standard single shock front setup over to dual front shocks on each side. Your current front shocks are not compatible with the new hoop so you’ll need to purchase (4) shocks plus the hoop. *The OE shock mount location uses a stem bushing top/eyelet bushing bottom, the dual shock hoop uses eyelet bushings top and bottom.
Parts you’ll need for a 6″ lifted late model RAM 2500/3500 are:

I have a 2013 ram 2500 diesel, it has a 6″ pro comp lift, on it when I bought it, I want dual shock mounts for it, is this possible with what I have, or not, thanks

This particular dual shock hoop is designed for the 2014-2018 RAM 2500 and 2013-2018 RAM 3500 trucks with the factory radius arm suspension design.
The 2013 RAM 2500 still uses the older style factory 4-link suspension, which we do offer a dual auxiliary bracket for as well. Its designed to install independently of the factory shock location (inside the coil spring mount) to add dual auxiliary shocks with your choice of our NX2 twin tube gas or FOX 2.0 performance IFP monotube gas shocks. The brackets are design for our kits, but will likely be compatible with the pro comp kit you have currently. We off separate dual shock hoop kits for our short arm vs long arm equipped trucks so I’d recommend reaching out to our tech support team to discuss which kit you have installed on your truck and which bracket kit the recommend installing – (517) 279-2135 or tech-bds@ridefox.com

Hello what kind of shocks would i run with this kit if I had 2018 ram 2500 diesel with 3 inch lift springs
I have a 2014 ram 2500 with 10” of lift what shocks do I need to go with this kit for that height
Hey Cody, while we don’t spec a 10″ option, the dual shocks for the 8″ lift heights would work at 10″. For the FOX 2.0 IFPs it would be #98224761 (x4), they measure out to 33″ extended and 19.25″ collapsed length from eye-to-eye.
Any idea if these will work with the newer 19-21 ram 3500’s or not?
These dual shock hoops are not approved for use on the 19+ trucks
