BDS at the Carlisle Truck Nationals

For the 3rd time in less than a month the BDS Suspension crew loaded up the show trailer and headed east for Pennsylvania, this time in route to the Carlisle Truck Nationals in Carlisle, PA. This event has been organized for the last 24 years, starting in 1991. Over the years the event has continued to grow, but continues to promote a family friendly weekend full of big rigs, monster trucks, lifted trucks and lowered mini trucks. In addition to the various classes of shown-shine competition the event boasts dealer test drives rock crawling exhibitions, kids activities, parts swap meet, beauty competition and burnout contest. BDS is on hand for the 3=-day event once again this year to chat with customers and offer up great show specials. Along with Project Slate on display in the booth we had Jimmy K.’s Project Sinister, a killer Ford F150 repping a BDS coilover suspension, Fiberglass flares 38s, and a fresh wrap.

The weekend was busy as usual with thousands flocking to the fairgrounds to check out the sights and get in on the action. While sporadic rain storms put a damper on the mood occasionally, the overall sense of excitement continued on. Highlights of the weekend would definitely have to rock crawling and the burnout competition, watching competitors put the pedal to the floor and disregard for the tires as they melted them off in a cloud of smoke. All in all it was a good weekend out in Carlisle; we got a chance to hang out with our local dealer RV 4WD and talk to plenty of customers. Thanks again to  Project Sinister and all the customers that made if out to the event this weekend, we’re already looking forward to next year and the 25th annual show!
