The boys from BDS made it out to sunny southern California a few weekends back for what continues to be one of the best off-road shows in the world, Off-Road Expo. Held at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, CA this venue has ample room to a healthy sampling of everything the offroad industry has to offer. With hundreds of vendors on site, live demos, and plenty to see its hard not to have a great time at the show. This year the sun was shining and daytime temps were well in excess of 100 degrees for both days of the show making the beer tents a popular stop among show goers as tens of thousands flocked to the show. The event boasts a mix of everything off-road related with desert racers and Ultra4 rigs, side-by-sides and dirt bikes, monster trucks, Jeeps and an a handful of bro trucks. The show has something for people of all ages with race exhibitions and to cool displays, celebrities appearances and a must see bikini contest.
BDS set up the new larger 20×90′ booth space in the main hall of the show, inside with the nice, cool air conditioning blowing on us all weekend long. We teamed up with sister companies Zone Offroad, JKS Manufacturing and 4×4 Posi-Lok to display at this year’s show and had several vehicles on display in the booth and around the show grounds. This was by far our best year at the show with ample space to speak to show off rides and display new products.
