Project Trucks: Bad Influence RAM

BadInfluenceRAM-26

Pete Costanzo is no stranger to the automotive aftermarket. He’s been building bad ass vehicles for over 15 years with several show quality builds to his name including Project Charcoal Stroke and BDS equipped Super Duty that turned heads everywhere it went. Last year, in preparation for the 2014 SEMA Show, Pete came up with the plan to build his newest ride dubbed Project Bad Influence, an over the top 2012 RAM 2500 to stand out from the rest. With less than a 6-month build timeline Pete got to work enlisting the crew over at Street 2 Sand Performance to help with the buildup.  The end result is something worth a long hard second look.

Starting off with the paint, the truck went to Elite Customs where it received a custom white, candy red, and black paint job that pops in the sunlight. Under all that paint this truck has a ton of body mods to include a custom RAM air hood, Fusion bumpers, a plethora of Baja Designs LED lighting, an AWC grille, Monster Hooks, Elite Customs/Diode Dynamic HID headlights and LED tails, EGR fender flares, Bestop Powerboard steps, A BedRug bedliner and Retrax Powertrax bed cover. For lift, Pete turned to BDS Suspension once again installing the 8” 4-Link Long Arm System (stretched to 10”) with BDS adjustable track bar, BDS traction bars, and dual Fox 2.0 remote resi shocks. In the rear a custom set of airbags were added to help when towing as well as a set of Horn Blaster airhorns plumbed into the air compressor. The suspension and drivetrain is finished in candy red to match the paint color and the truck rolls on 37×13.50×22 Nitto Mud Grapplers on 22×12 Hostile Hammered wheels. Helping the truck stop are a set of EBC black drilled rotors at all 4 corners.

When it comes to power, this truck has no shortage of getty up out of the 6.7L Cummins diesel. Mods include a S&B cold air intake, Sinister Diesel EGR delete, H&S mini max race tuner, and Diamond Eye 5” turbo back exhaust that dumps over the rear axle. Inside of Bad Influence the interior is plush Alea leather with ultra suede inserts. Panels are refinished in red accents and Street to Sand added a custom switch panel.
